New China Tea Garden Chop Suey

This place only takes cash. The inside is out dated the chairs are dirty, I'm scared to know what the kitchen looks like. The egg rolls are big with no taste at all. I won't be going back to this place.

Will always be my number #1 chinese spot when I come home because every state I've been to does not have anything that gives me quality besides Indianapolis, so it's a hole in the wall and extremely outdated but still going strong.

I ordered chicken egg foo young with chicken fried rice and a egg roll. The meal was pretty good. The egg roll was dry and terrible no flavor at all. The price was fair. However the next day I was constantly in the washroom when I went to work and I was nausea for the first half of my shift. The chinese food was all that I had ate. I had to give two stars because the fried rice was good. However I'll never take that chance again. I'll stick to Skylake on 111th.

I have been coming to this Chinese place since I was 9yrs old with my aunty. The food is always amazing and hot and fresh. The prices are reasonable to considering this is a Chinese restaurant and Chinese food is expensive. They're prices are affordable to eat often.

Vegetarian options: You can order and food without meat. It's your choice.

Parking: It's a staple in the Roseland neighborhood and in Chicago period. Known for they're fresh and crispy fried chicken wings, they're great with sweet and sour sauce.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes wheelchairs are easily able to come and go.

I would honestly say this is a hidden gem in the hood. The food was good and they didn't try to charge you for sauces that come with Chinese food like another place in the area used to. It's cash only though so you have to keep that in mind if you need to stop at the bank. The person who gave me my order seemed genuinely nice.

For years this place has had some of the best food! It's fresh and delicious and their prices are decent. It's not a sit-in and the location is not that great but I always order ahead and pick it up. Yummy food!

Vegetarian options: Ask for vegetable only.

Parking: It is directly in front. Usually 1 or 2 cars. Lots of people walk in. I never have yo pay meter. Quick service.
