Service was great, as the owner is very friendly and welcoming. They've been in the city for a long time. I recommend trying a classic burger or something. Their lunch deals are pretty affordable.
Finally stopped in after walking past many times. Burger and pancakes were great. Nothing fancy, just tasty, fresh-cooked food. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Not many places like this left. Note: if you’re like me and often dine out later in the day, they close at 6 most days, so don’t try to come for a late dinner.
If you crave a no-frills dining experience, this is your place! I took a book, ordered a patty melt and had a pleasant time chatting with the staff while my food was prepared. I thoroughly enjoyed the patty melt. The prices were reasonable and the food was great.
