Please don't accept reservations if you close in half an hour. That's a rude trick to us and your staff. It was a rushed unfortunate experience.

We are here on Valentine’s Day and we got the exquisite prefixed menu. All of the prepared cuisine has been above our expectations. We will be saving this as one of our favorites!

Went there during restaurant week. Paid $90 per person for the menu with the ‘wine pairing’ that consisted of 3 average wines in water glasses all served before the meal.

The food itself was fine and decently tasty but nothing special. Server was friendly enough but the speed at which the food was served was erratic (e.g., waited 20 minutes for the salad but then received the second starter an entree at the same time).

The worst thing however was the fact that they automatically charged 22%(!!!) Gratuity + 4% credit card fee and then had the humor to ask for an additional tip without pointing out that the above gratuity was already included.

I, of course, reported it to the Illinois better business bureau and won’t return.

I FOUND HAIR IN MY FOOD. I told 2 staff members including our waitress and no real apology or offering to take back the item I found it in and bring out a new one. I had to ask for them to comp my dinner plate when the check came. They had the audacity to charge me when hair was found in my food. Each course portion was small and they did not come in order or at the same time. The salad arrived 2 courses after it was supposed to, it looked like a serving for one. We had to ask several times where our food was and if more was coming to to feed our table of 5. We had a vegetarian at our table and her substitute items didnt come until we asked. I was quite disappointed with the service there.

I chose this restaurant because they advertise gluten-free accommodations. I informed the server/manager of this and confirmed again when my dish was delivered that it was gluten-free.
After eating, I felt unwell. My boyfriend asked if they even had gluten-free bread and was told they do not. The meal was comped, but this was not cross-contamination — it was being served gluten after explicit confirmation.
I understand how difficult this can be during busy times, but I wish they had been honest and said they couldn’t safely accommodate. If you have celiac or serious food allergies, I would not consider this a safe place to eat.

Nia Restaurant and Wine Bar truly feels like a West Loop hidden gem. Despite being just off Randolph Street, it’s easy to miss — and that’s part of the charm. Once inside, the space is incredibly cozy and intimate, the kind of place that instantly makes you want to settle in and take your time.

What really stood out was the food. Everything is scratch made, thoughtfully prepared, and meant to be shared, which makes the experience feel communal and relaxed. Each dish felt intentional, well-balanced, and comforting without being boring.

If you’re looking for a quieter, more intimate alternative to the usual West Loop spots — especially for a date night or special dinner — Nia is absolutely worth seeking out.

We went for Restaurant week. The hostess was lovely and service was very good. We had the 60.00 menu and the only 2 dishes we didnt care for were the shrimp and the chicken. The chicken was dry..the sauce was delicious. The shrimp was underwhelming. We will be back as the over all experience was lovely.

Everything about our visit was amazing — from the delicious food to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, and our server was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations.
What made it extra special was that they even let our dog join us! It’s rare to find such a pet-friendly place with this level of service and quality.
Highly recommend Nia to anyone looking for great food, great people, and a place that truly makes you feel at home. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Celebrated my husband's birthday last night. This place is a must go to. It is truly a hidden gem!! The food was so delicious and the presentation left us wanting more. We selected the tasting menu option, we weren't disappointed at all!!! The service was personal and outstanding. The atmosphere was charming and inviting. I would highly recommended this place for date night or any celebration.

Great experience! My wife and I visited and did the chef’s tasting meal for 2! We had some great courses! The food was incredible, and chef Daniel was great! The only thing that could be improved is to have identical gluten free options for each meal.. Though they were able to accommodate for 2 of the non-gluten friendly dishes, there were a few that my wife couldn’t eat! However, it was a great experience and would be 10/10 if we didn’t have the dietary restrictions.

Amazing spot in the west loop. Food and flavors delicious, with a very affordable tasting menu. Service was amazing and attentive with personal touches to accommodate the dietary restrictions. We did outside seating and loved enjoying the evening without being rushed to vacate the table.
