A Chicago style hot dog isn't fried or grilled, it's steamed or boiled, served with tomatoe, pickles, onion, sports peppers, mustard, relish, and celery salt on a poppy seed bun. What you're selling is Maxwell Street hot dogs. Yuck! Please stop the lie.
Beware they will close for the day unexpectedly. The food is decent, definitely not bad. The service is good. The atmosphere is meh. It's 43rd & Wentworth, you can't expect miracles.
I was at Nicky's Gyros and noticed a clean restaurant, a large menu and an attentive staff.Specials and combinations are hand written on posts near the register. Prices are fair and the food is pretty good.
