I recently visited a Thai restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The Pad Kee Mao, which happens to be my favorite dish, was absolutely delicious. The restaurant has consistently impressed me with their flavorful and authentic Thai cuisine. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that every visit is enjoyable. Stopped for a dinner after the Lincoln Zoo Light. My husband really enjoyed Chicken Pat Kee Mao, while I liked Shrimp Wontoon Soup. Our to-go fried tofu is not so good. The lady server is very friendly.

I just finished eating dinner at Nine Thai. I was surprised to see the restaurant empty when I arrived. We were kindly greeted and sat a a table surrounded by beautiful plants and greenery. I ordered the Penang curry and it was fantastic! It definitely had a kick to it. I also tried the curry noodle and it was fantastic - great flavor.

We got takeout food and this food did not disappoint! We even got a discount for ordering online for pickup. One is the best Thai food places we've had in the city. I definitely recommend it!

This place is a hidden gem. The inside is full of beautiful greenery. It's a cute little weeknight spot. I will definitely be coming back or ordering delivery. The food was reasonably priced and excellent. We got fried tofu, seaweed salad, vegetable egg rolls and curry. Everything was delicious.

We celebrated our two year anniversary here. My girlfriend has traveled Southeast Asia, and is always looking for authentic cuisine. We definitely found it! The atmosphere is exactly how she remembers Thailand being and the food was full of flavors that kept my pallet guessing in a great way.Highly recommend curry, satay chicken, pad Thai, and pineapple fried rice.Nine was our server and I now realize owns the place too.She accommodated my girlfriends severe gluten allergy without issue. This has been such a big challenge for us! We actually had to leave another restaurant prior due to them not accommodating, unfortunately. We were lucky to find Thai food right around the corner and really enjoyed ourselves. We hope you do too.

This place is super interestingly decorated and is a nice little mom and pop shop right off Clark in Lincoln Park. When we went initially around 7pm on a Thursday there wasn't much of a crowd, it started building up more as it got closer to closing time. The service is top notch and the auntie that served us (which I assume is the owner) was super nice and friendly. Usually Thai restaurants will find a way to neuter their spicy dishes to be more palatable, so I asked for my khao soi to be spicy and she made sure of it (even egged me on and asked if it was spicy enough--thankfully I had some Thai iced tea to help me there).I believe the food is a bit on the pricier end. I usually get a lot more food when I go out for Thai but they give you some pretty small portions for the overall price you pay. I think the convenience of the location, especially if you're in Lincoln Park makes this palatable, but if you're willing to travel a bit I'd recommend traveling further north for some other Thai places that will be more bang for your buck.

Had a dinner there last night. Got Tom Ka Gai soup – the chicken in it was old and rancid. Got a noodle dish with beef – the beef was stale and rancid. About a third of the menu was crossed out by hand. The next morning (today) woke up sick to the stomach (didn't eat anything in between) and had a massive diarrhea. There was nobody there when we walked in – we should have paid more attention. Just don't go there – this was absolutely the worst Thai food I ever had.

I loved all the plants throughout the cozy restaurant space! Food was delicious and fresh, no long wait for it on a Saturday night. Great stop after a long afternoon at the zoo.
