Great dive bar! This is our go to before and after Cubs games. If you’re looking for an espresso martini and velvet barstools this probably isn’t your vibe. If you have a sense of humor and like cold beer, highly recommend.

In town with grandkids for a concert at Wrigley, I need a dive bar to post up at for a few hours. Found Nisei and immediately felt welcome & at home! Thanks y'all for the Chicago Handshake!

Came in here around 11 or so on a Thursday night and had a great time. I tried the peppermint Malört shot they made which was the best shot of Malört I've ever had but still terrible, which I think is the idea. Being able to play darts was a lot of fun and the general atmosphere in the bar was friendly and open.
