Booked this place for a work team happy hour of 20. Everyone had a great time. I would recommend to other colleagues. F+B minimum was very reasonable. Thanks Fernando!

It was a nice place! The food and stuff was okay, but I order it around 1am.. so I don’t think I should to complain… but the place was very cute, definitely will be back.

The ambience was beauty. Music a little too loud though. Food amazing all tho they had ran out of multiple items that we wanted to try with it being our first time. The waiter and busboy were absolutely great. Would definitely recommend but maybe go early so you get to try more food options.

We love the food, friendliness of staff, ambiance, & music at Nisos. Fun to sit outside in summer, at bar or restaurant downstairs or at the upstairs restaurant. We were there recently for our anniversary had reservations for two at Nisos Prime upstairs, & at the last minute our kids wanted to join us but there we no tables to accommodate five people. We were enjoying drinks & appetizer downstairs & the hostess informed us they could accommodate all of us now upstairs. Yay! We had great time. Appreciate the effort. Caleb, our waiter was AWESOME!!

Nisos Prime definitely nails the ambience — the space is beautiful, super modern, and gives off a full vacation vibe. It’s the kind of place you walk into and instantly feel like you’re somewhere special.

But the experience didn’t fully match the setting. We were only three people at dinner, and things still moved incredibly slow. We ordered our food before the drinks, yet the food arrived first, and the drinks didn’t come out until much later. Our waiter barely showed up — maybe 2–3 times during our entire 1 hour and 30 minute reservation. At one point I genuinely thought he just didn’t care about earning a decent tip. Then at the end, surprise, an automatic 20% gratuity was added. That instantly explained the lack of effort — he was guaranteed his tip no matter what. Our bill was almost $700 for just three people, and he absolutely did not earn that 20%. I’m not cheap at all, and anyone who knows me knows I always tip 20% or more when it’s deserved.

The food itself was okay. Some items really need to be seasonal — the watermelon burrata had watermelon with zero flavor, and the octopus was too fishy. Prices felt too high with too many extra charges for no real reason.

On the positive side, the drinks were excellent. If I ever consider coming back, it would be for the ambience and the drinks — those were the highlights.

I hosted a private event for my work in the upstairs speakeasy space. It was perfection from start to finish! Shanell took care of our party and was the best. Super attentive and the service was seamless. The passed apps they selected for us were all 10/10 and al the guests were raving about them. Highly recommend hosting a private event here!

I was very disappointed with the overall experience. I had dined here some time ago and was truly impressed, but it seems the business must have changed ownership because everything felt completely different this time. The service was cold and not warm or attentive. The food tasted as if it had been prepared well in advance and simply reheated. The chicken parmesan was dry and overcooked, the “parmesan fries” were just plain fries, and the octopus tasted unfresh with a strange, foul flavor that immediately worried me. Even the tap water had a strong chlorine taste. The prices were extremely high for the quality offered. A 20% gratuity was automatically added, which felt unreasonable given the level of service. The ambience also felt off, lighting was so dim that it was hard to read the menu, and the loud, club-style music didn't match the setting at all. Overall, it was such a disappointing experience that we couldn't wait to finish and leave. It's sad to see a once beautiful place decline like this.

We had amazing service and meal at Nisos. We ordered the porterhouse steak along with a few sides. Everything was cooked perfectly and our server was very friendly. Would definitely recommend dining here!

Hosted a Scorpio birthday dinner for seven of my friends at Neil's prime they welcomed us with a happy birthday sign they offer offered us each a glass of champagne for a birthday toast, and they really made us all feel so special. The food was delicious and everybody loved the vibes.

Nisos met and exceeded all expectations... everything about the experience was excellent. Our reservation was for 5pm because we had a show to get to so they were not crowded; but Caleb our waiter and the bus staff were on point and attentive. He walked us through the menu, made recommendations, even provided complimentary champagne with our oysters. The menu selection made it hard to choose, so its nice that they offer to prepare family style, my wife and I shared a NY strip and the Branzino with broccolini on the side. Everything came out perfect. We held off on dessert and had another glass of wine before the show; but just another way of going above and beyond they brought us a side scoop of chocolate ice cream to finish with our wine. Great for date nights, special occasions, couples, and more... they're excellent with the details!

Overall alluring place, given the catchy music and incandescent atmosphere. However, pretty pricy for what it is. $22 for 4cm wide arancini balls as an app? $12 for bread? $23 for a couple slices of prosciutto and toast? And their mains are proportionately over- priced as well. It’s a fun, pretty spot, with overall average service (our server themselves was good, but given the number of tables we watched them cover, the service was actually fairly thinly-spread. )

ALSO, in the EXTREMELY fine print of the menu- a 20% service charge is automatically, and irrevocably added to ALL bills. Which would not have been an issue, if it was made aware to us before we got our check. Our server was kind and definitely running themselves into the ground to attend to us and all the other tables, and made us aware of this charge…when we got our check… but given the already extravagant prices and stretched out service, kind of felt like we were getting slighted.

Happy we could say we went there, because we like new experiences. Confident we will not return.

I’ve been to Nisos twice now and really enjoyed it both times! The corn dish is awesome — definitely a must-try. I’ve also had the vodka pasta, which is good but not particularly special, while the Orecchiette is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere, both upstairs and downstairs, is great, and the bartenders and servers are all super friendly and attentive.

The only downside is the host stand — the hostesses haven’t been the friendliest and don’t seem great at accommodating guests when you first arrive. Other than that, it’s a fantastic spot overall!

We recently visited Nisos Prime for a double date with another couple, and it was a truly exceptional dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt sophisticated and energetic—perfect for a celebratory night out. Our server, Shane B., was fantastic. He was knowledgeable about the extensive wine list, offering great recommendations (we enjoyed both the Kir-Vianni and the Mersel Lebnani), and paced our four-person meal perfectly. The food was the real highlight. We centered our dinner around the incredible 32oz Dry Aged Porterhouse, which was cooked to perfection and easily one of the best steaks we've had in Chicago—definitely worth the splurge! For appetizers, the Crispy Octopus was tender and unique, and the Pasta Agnolotti was a standout. We finished with the Espresso Trifle and a Gelato Trio, which provided the perfect sweet ending. While it is certainly a high-end experience (our total bill reflected that!), the quality of the food, the sophisticated atmosphere, and the top-tier service made it completely worth it. We highly recommend Nisos Prime and will certainly be back for our next special occasion.
