Service and food were both really good. There was a little hiccup with the dessert, I inquired about an ingredient listed and was told the recipe changed and it was not in there anymore but the menu was not updated to reflect the change, only to find out the ingredient was actually in the dessert still. They made it right & replaced with something different, but had it have been an allergen issue it could have potentially been more serious.
Everything we ate was delicious. We went for restaurant week and thoroughly enjoyed each course.
Restaurant Week menu was one of the best out there. They served entrees that were actually on the main menu. Unfortunately, we found some restaurants did not. The seabass was delicious and my husband enjoyed the steak and frites. Our server was wonderful. Appreciated that he told us that the 20% tip was on the bill. The bartender downstairs did not. Our fault I guess for not being more careful. Nisos Prime is a beautiful restaurant and we enjoyed our dinner. Will return!!!
Our server was great, the food was good, however the automatic 20% service charge/gratuity added to the bill was not appreciated. In addition, the total tax calculated is including the service charge/gratuity. Also went into Niso Lounge and was charged the same. 2 drinks that had double shots was $171. That's just ridiculous in my opinion.
Very good service. Attentive. Food was pretty good but expensive. The entryway was tight, people, including employees and other patrons, having to move over as we waited for our table. The margarita I had was just okay. The appetizers were delicious and tasted fresh. The steak frites had good flavor and the basque cheesecake was delicious.
Great service, food and amazing vibes. We attended restaurant week and found the $60 prefix meals worth the cost.
We went for Chicago Restaurant week and had a wonderful experience. Food and value were outstanding. The service was also wonderful. I will say our reservation was at 5pm which was not peak dinner time. Will return.
Booked this place for a work team happy hour of 20. Everyone had a great time. I would recommend to other colleagues. F+B minimum was very reasonable. Thanks Fernando!

It was a nice place! The food and stuff was okay, but I order it around 1am.. so I don’t think I should to complain… but the place was very cute, definitely will be back.

The ambience was beauty. Music a little too loud though. Food amazing all tho they had ran out of multiple items that we wanted to try with it being our first time. The waiter and busboy were absolutely great. Would definitely recommend but maybe go early so you get to try more food options.

We love the food, friendliness of staff, ambiance, & music at Nisos. Fun to sit outside in summer, at bar or restaurant downstairs or at the upstairs restaurant. We were there recently for our anniversary had reservations for two at Nisos Prime upstairs, & at the last minute our kids wanted to join us but there we no tables to accommodate five people. We were enjoying drinks & appetizer downstairs & the hostess informed us they could accommodate all of us now upstairs. Yay! We had great time. Appreciate the effort. Caleb, our waiter was AWESOME!!
Nisos Prime definitely nails the ambience — the space is beautiful, super modern, and gives off a full vacation vibe. It’s the kind of place you walk into and instantly feel like you’re somewhere special.
But the experience didn’t fully match the setting. We were only three people at dinner, and things still moved incredibly slow. We ordered our food before the drinks, yet the food arrived first, and the drinks didn’t come out until much later. Our waiter barely showed up — maybe 2–3 times during our entire 1 hour and 30 minute reservation. At one point I genuinely thought he just didn’t care about earning a decent tip. Then at the end, surprise, an automatic 20% gratuity was added. That instantly explained the lack of effort — he was guaranteed his tip no matter what. Our bill was almost $700 for just three people, and he absolutely did not earn that 20%. I’m not cheap at all, and anyone who knows me knows I always tip 20% or more when it’s deserved.
The food itself was okay. Some items really need to be seasonal — the watermelon burrata had watermelon with zero flavor, and the octopus was too fishy. Prices felt too high with too many extra charges for no real reason.
On the positive side, the drinks were excellent. If I ever consider coming back, it would be for the ambience and the drinks — those were the highlights.

I hosted a private event for my work in the upstairs speakeasy space. It was perfection from start to finish! Shanell took care of our party and was the best. Super attentive and the service was seamless. The passed apps they selected for us were all 10/10 and al the guests were raving about them. Highly recommend hosting a private event here!

I was very disappointed with the overall experience. I had dined here some time ago and was truly impressed, but it seems the business must have changed ownership because everything felt completely different this time. The service was cold and not warm or attentive. The food tasted as if it had been prepared well in advance and simply reheated. The chicken parmesan was dry and overcooked, the “parmesan fries” were just plain fries, and the octopus tasted unfresh with a strange, foul flavor that immediately worried me. Even the tap water had a strong chlorine taste. The prices were extremely high for the quality offered. A 20% gratuity was automatically added, which felt unreasonable given the level of service. The ambience also felt off, lighting was so dim that it was hard to read the menu, and the loud, club-style music didn't match the setting at all. Overall, it was such a disappointing experience that we couldn't wait to finish and leave. It's sad to see a once beautiful place decline like this.
We had amazing service and meal at Nisos. We ordered the porterhouse steak along with a few sides. Everything was cooked perfectly and our server was very friendly. Would definitely recommend dining here!
