I have been ordering from Niu B for a while since it’s down the street from where I live. Overall it has been good in the past. But lately, there has been a noticeable decrease in quality of their food. Today was the final straw for me. Ordered the bagel roll and California roll. Both were spoiled. I mean spoiled. After one piece it was clear, the fish was a few days old — had to throw it away. Also the bagel roll had less than a tea spoon of cream cheese in the entire roll. Considering the lack of quality, the price is unjustified.

Stopped in for a late lunch on a Friday. Ordered the Bento Box lunch special and it was plenty of food. The spicy garlic ramen was flavorful. The spicy tuna roll was enjoyed by everyone at the table.

This is a gem in the neighborhood. The service is amazing, always kind and helpful. The sushi and all dishes are high quality. I love their wagyu dishes, cabbage beef, but you can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu.

What a great location and amazing dishes. We have been there three times in 4 days and it was delicious everytime. The service was kind and efficient. And we can't wait to go back again.
Excellent place for a night out in the Michigan Ave area. I really loved the lychee martini and the lava cake. The sushi was excellent. The tuna tartar appetizer was excellent.

I saw Niu B while I was walking to another, and I am glad I changed it up. I had an amazing dinner and time here. I had never tried Takoyaki before, and Niu B set my expectations high! The chicken karaage was amazing too. With the residences attached, it made part of the atmosphere where the staff and regulars are almost like kindred spirits, felt like home.
