Service and atmosphere were great. The food was amazing, however I definitely got food poisoning a few hours after brunch. So disappointing especially after paying so much!

Way too expensive for what you get. Got 3 different rolls of sushi, and it was all rice. Must be so pricey due to the "novelty" of coming here? Way overrated and a rip off. Don't waste your time or money. Go somewhere else who actually care about their customers. Service was also quite sub par for how much we spent. Very disappointed.

Great brunch. The value is amazing. For $65 bucks all you can eat Nobu sushi! Wow. Plus desserts and other breakfast items! I will definitely be back anytime I’m visiting Chicago. Would recommend. The only thing I would suggest is they need to be a touch better on service. They were busy so I understand but service was a bit slow.

Nobu Chicago delivers a refined dining experience with a beautiful ambiance and attentive service that enhances every moment. Their brunch menu is a standout, offering a well-balanced mix of delicious food and expertly crafted cocktails.

The Wagyu sliders are juicy and succulent, packed with flavor in every bite. The crispy rice with spicy tuna impresses with its light, perfectly crisped rice, which allows the fresh tuna’s flavor to shine without being overpowered. The spicy salmon maki roll is executed flawlessly, with just the right amount of heat and freshness.

Ending on a sweet note, the almond croissants are awesome—flaky, buttery, and the perfect complement to brunch. Nobu Chicago continues to deliver a high-end sushi experience, making it a must-visit for those looking for an elevated brunch with Japanese flair.

Ordered the omakase. There was a hair on my plate and when I told the server about it he acted annoyed and didn’t offer any solutions until I told him it was disgusting and I wanted a new plate.

It’s not worth 300 dollars, no flavor, nothing new

I got violently ill from the raw salmon avocado maki. I called and was told the manager would call me back and they never did. I do not recommend anyone visit here.

Food was amazing, service was just crap sorry it was our anniversary and we seen nobody for 20min after we were sat. We got the winter oma to taste everything and it was a very long wait between orders, and the server didn't know anything about the sake on the menu. Atmosphere was nice except it was insanely loud we could barely have a conversation. At times we had to text each other just to talk... overall horrible experience

My husband and I went for the Saturday buffet brunch, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. From the moment we arrived, we didn’t feel welcomed. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes for our table, even though it was already ready. The layout of the restaurant was inconvenient, as we had to walk through the entrance area—where people were checking in or leaving—to get our food. We were seated at a high-top table that was wobbly, with no place to put our jackets or bags. The service was also lacking; the servers seemed too busy, and despite multiple attempts to make eye contact, we were ignored several times. Overall, the brunch experience did not meet expectations. For those considering it based on social media reels or TikToks, it may not be what you expect.

The two times I’ve been here, the service was terrible - from the hosts to the servers… The first waitress didn’t grab our orders until 30 minutes after seating and we couldn’t find anyone to service our table. The second waiter forgets an entire dish! On top of that, the food was just so salty and not worth the money! You’re better off going to Momotaro down the street.

Made reservations and was told to be mindful of other guests that may need the table like 2.5 hours after the reservation.

I didn't appreciate that - as i was prepared to pay over 1000$ to enjoy the experience for a birthday occasion.
It was as if there was already pressure to leave before we even arrived.

The travel distance for this occasion for us is 65 miles plus. Could not justify the travel time and then the limit of time we were told we could reserve the table.
Even if that was enough time, I don't think there should have been the limit restriction.

This was not inviting for our occasion.
Needless to say, we canceled the reservation and will not make a reservation again.

The food is good, but the customer service is terrible. I went with some friends to celebrate my friend's birthday. We got a table for 10 people and we received poor service, in addition to ignoring us and getting our order wrong.

As someone from Asia, I feel so offended that this restaurant is regarded as one of the best Japanese restaurants in the US lol. Where even to start.

The nigiri tastes awful. The king salmon is not fatty at all and the O-toro must have gone bad already. In fact, O-toro literally tastes so fishy and not fresh that I almost throw up on the spot. The shrimp tempura is covered in sauces like wings. That’s not tempura, and my ancestors are crying watching us paying 300+ dollars eating these.

The service is also super slow and the restaurant feels more like a night club rather than a Japanese restaurant.

Nobu to Japanese food is like Panda Express to Chinese food. Be careful people!!!!
