Wonderful ambiance, views are beautiful and drinks are fantastic. Not much more to be said!
Everything we ate was delicious and very good for ordering a lot and sharing, the views are amazing especially around sunset, and service was very attentive and friendly
Was told that since we were there for a special event (birthday) we would be offered a dessert for the birthday patron. Never once was offered or even mentioned. Also, very inconvenient to have to confirm my reservation in 4 different occasions.
Micro dishes that cost an arm and a leg … rude hosts calling people weirdos ..sub par except service that was pleasant
A phenomenal restaurant to go to on New Years Eve! The ambience was energetic and service was exceptional. Definitely would recommend.
The waitress was rude and when I smiled at her she gave an ungrateful looks as if I had offended her. Made me wonder if I said anything wrong the entire time!
Yassine btf very good service

Apparently there's a rule they must keep the doors leading to the outdoor portion of the rooftop open if guests are outside? That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. It was 40 degrees and windy last night. For those patrons seated inside, we had to suffer wearing coats/jackets to accommodate those few people that were outside. It was FREEZING. It made the entire experience horrible. When I asked one of the servers what happens if it's 90+ degrees outside and guests want to enjoy the air-conditioned inside, do they leave the doors open then? She couldn't answer...
The views are great, but the service is not befitting of a restaurant at this level. Had a lunch meeting here earlier in the week that lasted an hour and a half. We ordered promptly at the beginning of said meeting, and half of our food never arrived by the time we needed to leave and there was no explanation for this. What did arrive was 7/10, at best. The receipt was not itemized, so it is unclear whether we were charged for the whole meal, but in any event, this is an experience one can skip.

Everything I had was was delicious. I was not wowed by anything, but definitely satisfied with my meal. I'd love to return to try more items, and of course eat on the first floor.
During tanoshi hour, we had the lychee/elderflower martini and the market margarita. Oh bothhhhh of these were so good. 10/10. I'd order either of those again without question. For food we had the crispy okra, oyster trio, karaage chicken, and yellowtail jalapeño roll. All very good! The chicken was probably my favorite. Not the best karaage ever, but very tasty.
There are better (cheaper) options for HH in Chicago, but this was definitely a nice way to sample some of NOBU's dishes without breaking the bank and enjoy the city views. It wouldn't be my first pick for HH, but I'd certainly go back and try more dishes.

Great atmosphere and vibes. Food was ok. Really few vegetarian dishes.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dishes are clearly labeled but the options are very few.

This was the second time we came here. We felt a bit put off by the hostess at the front. We came at our reservation time and she wasn't even communicating and just walked off without asking us to follow. Then we asked to move to a different spot which was empty and we got some attitude from the staff, which was not necessary. We were a group of 7 and celebrating a birthday. After that things went well, but the food was a disappointment. We asked for vegetarian options, and were told that the cold dishes could be substituted. So we were told to substitute the cold dishes the yellowtail jalapeno with avocado instead of fish and the tiradito with cucumber. Please tell me how is a plate of sliced avocado with a small jalapeno pepper on top worth $34?! And then just sliced cucumbers with a taijin pepper worth $34? That was completely a terrible substitution and not actual food. The server was in a better mood once she saw we were ordering food and drinks. She also got the chef to make us custom veggie sushi. She was nice at the end and brought us out a dessert for the birthday girl. Definitely didn't feel good paying so much money for food that wasn't even proper food.
Dj aboywithabag was insanely awesome. Drinks and open rooftop were a nice bonus

great views & vibes, very nice spot for drinks. food was just ok. service was decent.
Superb service, exceptional food. The signature cocktails/dishes were outstanding. The old fashioned was fine. Only four stars because something didn’t sit well with my husbands stomach.
