Let me start by saying that the food was very decent and very reasonably priced. I ordered Kabob sultani and didn't pay an arm and leg for it like most other places. Inside seating is simple and cozy. If you want to bring a date that you want to marry, I would do it on 3rd or 4th date. It's not fancy looking but that for me that isn't important. The (pita) bread was warm. NICE!!! To other restaurants: please, warm up the bread. It is MUCH better. First ssue was that in the middle of giving my order, the telephone rings. The caller gets priority! No, "can you please hold" or 'l'll be right with you", the physical customer becomes secondary even if you are mid-sentence ordering. If I hadn't Uber'ed there , I would have gotten back in my car and left ( didn't want to wait 10-15 min for an Uber). My second issue was that if you are gonna market yourself as a Persian restaurant, make Tah-dig!! It's a staple. Very disappointing not to offer that. Hummus ( NOT a Persian food) is offered but not Tah-dig!! All in all, the food was good. The meat was tender, juicy and good quality given the price. I would eat there again for its reasonable price.

I always ordered the koubideh. Perfect flavor for me. And the rice, I order half regulat and half dill, oh so good! The service is pretty quick and they are very nice.

We went for lunch and ordered wraps, I had steak the my friend had falafel and both were enormous and delicious. They were so ample we only ate half and enjoying the other half later for dinner. The chicken wings we ordered took a little longer to prepare but had a delightful flavor worth waiting for.Very attentive and friendly staff. Quick service and very fair prices.Generally, when my friend comes to town, we never know where to lunch. We've decided to go back to NOK going forward and try everything, something different each time until we've run thru the entire menu!

So good, you can't go wrong with the lunch special! Swift service, good portion sizes, healthy eats and every bit is delicious! Definitely a weekly visit for all locals in the know, so now you know!

I stopped in here today and picked up a surprise Nowruz feast for my parents. The food was perfect and the wait was short. I knew that my dad would be delighted (it's his favorite lamb shank) and usually surprises are fun-- but when we got to their house he had just polished off a whole pizza. Happy ending: he is feasting now and happily screaming at the news. We also had a nice family time just staring at the food for awhile lol!

Great lunch specials. Never had a bad meal or experience. A favorite place in the Gladstone Park.

Good value for money even with the price hikes. You get a lot of food. Better quality if you dine in vs takeaway. Had a couple times they messed up my takeaway order (once I got the wrong order, the other time I only got half my order). Lunch special is a great deal M-F. Owner/staff aren't rude but aren't necessarily friendly either so service is a solid "meh". Despite these things it's still a solid place to eat for cheap and If they could improve service I'd give a 5 star rating no problem.

This was my first (and last!) time here, but I have been in many many Persian/Iranian restaurants. I had a soup( Ash) which was average, and a Chengeh Kabab wrap which was filled with lots of lettuce and sone pieces of beef which resembled Barg ( a different kind of kabab) and was mediocre at best. A true disappointment.

Really good/quality food. Great for the price! Highly recommend the lunch special. Also, try the desserts!

I like Persian /Iranian food. This place is stellar. It is not down town and therefore cast a lot less. Week days they have a $10 special that is filling and wonderful. The lady that I was with was very impressed with how tender the chicken was. The dish is kabob on rice. The beef was very well spiced and delicious. I enjoyed the felafel and my friend even commented on the kababobed tomato. I enjoy lentil soup. Their soup was only average but very edible. I would have added a blob of feta or sour cream but that would not be in line with the Persian menu I think. I was very impressed with the meal. Even the small amount of lettuce salad just whetted my taste buds for the meal. I definately want to go back and you cannot beat the price for a high quality, flavorful lunch. My friend is hard to please and she loved.

I love Persian kabobs. They have a $10 lunch special that is as good as I have ever had. My friend that I was with is very hard to please but she was very impressed with how tender the chicken was and even liked the kabobed tomato. I alos really liked the beef and the small salad enhanced the spices in the rest of the dish. The rice was good and very plentiful. I also had the lentil soup and it was good also but the kabob was outstanding. The price of the weekday special was proof that it was not downtown even tho it would be good enough for that are also. I saw stuffed grape leaves and a lamb dish on the menu so I will have to return soon. The lady working the counter was pleasant and helpful. Treat yourself and impress a friend at not too much cash would be how I would label this place.

We had a book club meeting here, so it wasn't a huge group, but we were more than a family. The staff made a reservation for us, had our table all ready and did such a good job keeping everyone attended and bringing food in a timely manner. Delicious. They even gave us separate checks.
