I love this place—one of the best kept secrets in Chicago! The food and service are great. My only complaint is that they recently removed the Mushroom Tofu Ramen from their menu. It was addictive!

The food was delicious and the wait time was short. Interesting venue on the 7th floor of Macy's. Great views up and down the atrium. Full of light!

Tucked away on the 7th floor of Macy's on State, Noodles by Takashi is a hidden gem for a quick, satisfying lunch in the Loop. Dropped about $16 on the Shoyu Ramen combo with a half tuna-avocado roll. The broth was rich, noodles had a nice chew, and the sushi was fresh. Perfect spot when you're craving something warm and flavorful without breaking the bank.

Noodles By Takashi Yagihashi is a legit gem if you're craving a solid bowl of ramen in the Loop. I grabbed the Tonkotsu Ramen ($16) and some crispy gyoza ($8), and both were fire. The broth was rich and flavorful, with that perfect balance of umami and depth, and the noodles had a nice bite. The gyoza were crispy on the outside and juicy inside—definitely worth adding on. Spent around $25, and it was well worth it. The spot is casual but has a cool, modern vibe, and service was quick even during the lunch rush. Will definitely be back to try the spicy miso ramen next time!

It is called tabo, and you order at the state of taco counter. Super random food court but i thought chicken ramen is pretty tasty

hidden gem alert! admittedly in a super random location on the 7th floor of Macy’s, Tabo’s ramen was super flavorful and packed with quality ingredients.
I can’t believe this place doesn’t have a line out the door— both the chicken and mushroom ramen were delicious.
Vegetarian options: Mushroom ramen is really good
Wheelchair accessibility: elevator leads directly to food court on flat surface

If you are looking for a good ramen shopping break with few people around you, check this place! The ramen is VERY good! We also ordered the short rib rice bowl, also very good!

Couldn’t find the place. Need an updated google maps photo
Delicious mushroom tofu ramen! Temperature was hot that I burned my mouth but was too hungry to care. Very yummy and underrated place. Hidden gem on the 7th floor of Macy’s

Best place in the Loop for vegetarian ramen (in my humble opinion). I believe I've tried all the ramen places downtown. Their mushroom tofu ramen is really yummy; even includes eggplant. Very affordable, too. This gem is hidden away on the 7th floor of Macy's; worth a trip if you are downtown and a fan of ramen.

Fantastic food. Big portions. So tasty. Ramen was beautiful.
In-LOVE with this hidden gem! I have been going here for 4 years for lunch. A lot of ramen places are too-heavy! This one is just perfect!! They give generous portions of everything. I can share with my sister sometimes too! I get the mushroom-tofu ramen and the radish on the side which adds a nice crisp freshness to the soup too!

Great place for ramen. Went here for lunch with a coworker. So much ramen for a great price. Plus the view of the city is amazing!!
