Nookies has been a breakfast go to place for many years in the DePaul area. Menu is basic with good food, not exceptional. Like most restaurants today, breakfast prices have risen. $30., plus tip is typical of Nookies.

Closed! Google and Yelp both said it was open but it is currently closed for renovations.

On first walking in and checking the menu I was a little worried it would be standard diner fare. Once the dishes came out I was happily proven wrong. The service was excellent and our food was great. The staff was friendly and chatted with us about a few things while we enjoyed our meal. The crepes are great, a little sturdier than usual in a very good way. Would recommend!

This place is the worst! Rubber eggs undercooked bacon??? Still half frozen potatoes??? Soup was all salt no taste. Was not impressed. I want my money back there are much better places to eat in Chicago.

Went for the first time. Seated quickly. Water was brought and were asked any thing else to drink. I was asked if I wanted coffee said no and he walked away even though my partner wanted coffee. Waiter took our order, j asked about their corned beef hash if it was canned? He said no and it was not home made either. Based on the pictures, it is canned corned beef hash. Upon leaving, saw a sign they will be closing on 3/17 for renovations. Hopefully, when they reopen it will be better.

Great place to go for breakfast or lunch. Good prices and good food

Food was great, server just wasn't fully in it. Quiet and not incredibly friendly. But overall the food and restaurant itself was very nice.

Food was bland, service was slow despite not being crowded, and many menu items seemed overpriced for the type of place Nookies seems to be. Location is about the only redeeming quality, otherwise, not worth stopping by.

Retro, not awsome chairs but I see what they were going with. The food and service was great

Excellent breakfast/brunch spot!! Staff was incredibly nice. Food was very quick and very delicious. The omelet was massive and served for another meal too. Great location. Would definitely come back!

There are a lot of fun flavors in the menu. The quality of the food is good. The tea was wonderful! And loose leaf. It's a cozy place. Quite comfortable.

Fantastic service and very good food. A little pricey for a diner, but the portions are generous. Delicious chicken noodle soup and brioche buns!

the brunch here was really delicious and the menu is pretty extensive so there's definitely something to suit anybody's palette! I went on a Sunday morning and it was pretty busy but there was definitely a place to sit and I didn't have to wait at all. the portion sizes are pretty big and I definitely had enough food for lunch as well!

This is a perfect spot to eat breakfast at! Especially when you live in the neighborhood! Friendly servers! Can't complain! Food good! As well as how relax the environment is!
