Exactly what streeterville needed. A new spot with great cocktails and food. Perfect for a date night or with friends!

Nora was a lovely place to eat. Small inside but it's attached to a boutique hotel. The ambiance at night is dark and intimate. What stuck out most to me was how nice and attentive the staff was. There was never a time that we were without water, plates were consistently cleared, table was wiped down after the plates were cleared and we were asked how we were multiple times. I appreciated the hospitality! The food was also delicious! The dips we got weren't my favorite but they were still tasty. However, I loved the complimentary focaccia bread and olive spread. Delicious! The olive appetizer was good, as well. You get a lot of olives which is nice when you're an olive gal like me! I love trying Caesar salads wherever I go, and this one was crunchy and cold, not too heavy on the dressing. They also put actual anchovies on top which weren't bad at alll! For the entree we both got the ravioli and I was super impressed. I am Italian and have Sicilian roots so the way they made their ravioli was much like we do at home, including the sauce which tasted identical to my Nunnie's. The star of the show was dessert. We ordered the Baklava Gelato Sundae which may have been one of the best desserts I have ever had! It hit all of the right notes for me: crunchy, creamy, sweet and savory. I would go back to Nora based on that alone! I also ordered sorbet but they were out of it so they gave me their seasonal sorbet on the house which was so kind of them. Definitely worth trying if you're in Chicago!

Excellent food and service. Halibut was prepared nicely. Dessert was phenomenal. Great family owned place.

A beautiful new restaurant located in the Saint Clair hotel! The staff was so knowledgeable and helpful on what to order. Homemade pasta and the ravioli recipe was a speciality from the owners grandma - definitely recommend! Don’t skip the baklava sundae for dessert

Unpleasant experience. Only 2 other people in the bar and it took nearly more than 5 minutes for the bartender to ask for my order. No water served upon my seating. No happy hour menu given to me upon my seating. I arrived after 4 , when happy hour is going on. The food and drink was good but service was not the best.

Nice quiet little restaurant attached to a hotel in the loop. The portions typical for higher end place. Pricey, like everything else post Covid. The antipasto tray was great, fresh. Really enjoyed the red sauce, hard area to match nonnas but this was good. Fish was nice and fresh great flavor. .Everything tasted great, the bartender did a nice job on the old fashioned too.. Our server was very helpful and attentive. All in all really nice place with good food on a limited menu, (know what you know and make it perfect!!!!!!!) Not ripping on the limited menu at all. Thumbs up! 4 1/2 stars all day.

A nice, calm atmosphere and quick servers. The food came quickly and nice and warm. The Braised Short Ribs were ever tender and melted in your mouth, with delicious sauce. A great place for a good dinner. Will definitely be coming back the next time we're in Chicago.

We visited Nora recently and absolutely loved the vibes of the restaurant, also located in the heart of streeterville. We had lovely service and everyone was so friendly there. The food was great, they had a large menu with a variety of options. Absolutely loved the grilled pecorino cheese drizzled with honey and the Funghi truffle risotto.

Came here to meet up with friends for Sunday dinner any it was fairly open. It picked up after 6:30pm The food was fresh - especially enjoyed the warm bread, tuna crudo. Great service by the staff. Everyone seemed to have enjoyed their food. I however didn't quite love my suckling pig. It didn't exactly get the crunch I was hoping for and the sauce was too overpowering.

Nice neighborhood new restaurant, the manager was detail oriented, well trained and provided spectacular service. We loved the fresh focaccia bread with olive dip. Sea bass main course was actually barramundi fish if you care about that. Loved the chocolate cake dessert which was not too sweet, perfectly balanced with the close to sorbet textured light gelato, recommended.

I was heading to Starbucks from my hotel and saw Nora's on my stroll. I looked it up on Yelp and instantly due to the reviews, photos of the food and menu I made a reservation for 6 for that same evening The environment was dark, cozy and vibrant. The host was very accommodating for some of our needs. Our server, Catalina was very pleasant. We brought our own wine which has a fair corkage fee and policy of $30 a bottle as long as it is not on their wine list We started with the trio of spreads which was a beautiful looking plate. The most interesting was the beet spread but the hummus was the best. Eggplant was just just ok The shrimp appetizer was not very good. The sauce was not very developed and the shrimp was bland We ordered a mushroom and truffle oil risotto entree as an appetizer to taste and share. It was incredible. Cooked perfect and so fragrant We had salads. I had the beet and cauliflower salad and loaded with Gorgonzola chunks. It was HUGE! Seriously three people could have split the salad. No one was able to finish theirs. It's not a bad thing. Just I was getting full so I left half over The grilled halibut flavor was delicious and a nice thick cut but it was over cooked. Also I would have liked a nice piccata sauce on it. But I still enjoyed it The lamb shank, which I only tasted, was one of the star dishes At the end we had an affogato, which is always great and a world class classic Negroni! Nora is a gem and as this restaurant matures will only get better. Prices are reasonable and I would definitely come back Grazie Nora- Grazie!

Excellent food and service in a lovely setting. The menu specializes in the cuisines along the Mediterranean coast, namely Italy and Greece, with a focus on Sardinia. We had an early dinner, so the place was fairly quiet. The space itself is beautiful, with comfortable chairs and low lighting, a place to relax and enjoy a leisurely meal. I'm eating light these days, however, and we both opted for a main dish only, no apps, drinks or desserts. I had the seabass alla Nora, a hearty serving of the freshest fish, plated with fresh fennel and dill, confit tomatoes, herby panko and king mushrooms. They treat the fennel as a vegetable in this dish, rather than a garnish, which I loved; there was plenty of it. The rest of it, meaty little bits of tomato and those gorgeous mushrooms, were a perfect accompaniment to the fish. Seriously, this plate is a steal at $28. I probably shouldn't say that. My husband opted for the roast suckling pig, a Sardinian specialty, and enjoyed almost every bite. Except for the ones I had. This dish is rich, full of porky flavor and served with a crave-able rosemary potato and vegetable caponata, kind of a layered galette. And pork jus, because. The only flaw was their complimentary focaccia, which might have made a good doorstop. My husband, the professional baker, knew just where they'd gone wrong, and had a nice conversation with the manager. No problem, I don't give a hoot about bread. Bring me more of that seabass. We'll most definitely be back.
