I cannot comment on the food. I went to go try out the food with some family members. I asked the employee if they used mirin or alcohol in the sushi. She told me that they did not. She did not bother going back to the kitchen or even offer to do that. Luckily, her coworker heard my question and contradicted her. She stated they use mirin.

When a customer asks a question like that, it is YOUR job to find out the correct answer. I avoid alcohol for religious reasons. I will not trust this place to give me accurate information.

This place has gone downhill. We sat at an outside table which was pretty dirty, asked to clean it and the rude waitress told us to sit inside instead because she didn't want to wipe it down. The food came out and honestly all fish were tasteless and cheap. We will not go back and don't waste money.

No question — the food is great. But the customer is not the greatest. Even when ordering by phone, the experience feels cold and unwelcoming. After a couple of frustrating visits, it honestly seems like they don’t even want to interact with customers.

Love the food, but the service is consistently disappointing — even when ordering by phone. This is my second bad experience, and sadly, I might have to start ordering from somewhere else. 😢

My family and I tried Nori Sushi for the first time last night. We did take out. This place will be our new go-to! Everything was ready, right on time. When I got the food home, everything was hot and fresh. The Chicken Katsu, Poke Bowl and Garlic Rice with shrimp were amazing! the side salads were crisp and fresh and the spicy Miso was, surprise, SPICY!!!
Nori Sushi has been in the community for a long time. Not sure why it took us so long as to try it. That said, we will be back!

My disappointment knows no bounds. I made an order online. The food was delicious. But when I received the order, it was horrible. Two types of sushi were in one box, I didn't receive any napkins or utensils. I'm contacting the administration of the establishment, pay attention to how the orders are packed. If I wasn't at home, but somewhere in the park, what should I have eaten: soup or sushi?

One of the best Sushi I had. Highly recommend if you want fresh sushi, with a good cute atmosphere.

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. This Nori's is A BYOB diner, but we decided to drink water. We started with chicken gyoza and calamari. The gyoza was good. The calamari was better. They came to the table hot, and we were warned about that. The Wasabi sauce that came with it was delightful. The Wasabi was toned down perfectly. You only tasted subtle hints of it. I ordered the yellow tail Maki, and the soft shell crab Maki. Nick ordered the salmon Maki, and the tempura Maki. All fir were fine, we both enjoyed them. There was nothing special about them. The fish was fresh. The service was great, never wanted for anything, and wasn't pestered.i didn't care much fir the tables and chairs. The chalk art was cool.

Such a cozy spot! I love the miso soup and the fresh rolls so much I've basically become dependent at this point. But the panang curry and yakisoba noodles are staples too. I'm vegetarian but omnivores I've brought to Nori Edgewater also leave happy. The service is always really prompt and friendly too.

Food is nasty, everything is overpriced. I’ve tried a few times. And every time it was bad. The curry is not good at all. It was impossible to eat. Even its fries is so bad, no taste. And people on front desk was so unfriendly.

Vegetarian options: They will run after you for more tip if you don’t tip over 20%. The server barely comes by and the Suchi is mid. The server actually came outside to ask why we didn’t tip more. Won’t be going back.
