Amazing food and great service. Got the fried rice bento box and kimchi fries. The server was very kind and attentive.

We went in after seeing the 50% off maki rolls special on their window and tried a variety of different rolls. They were all average, nothing crazy good about them (we both thought the rice tasted a little old). Not bad but I personally wouldn’t go back.

The Mexican Nori Roll with Escolar, Jalepeno and Cilantro was excellent. However after that everything else such as Salmon Avacado, and Eel Roll were just ok. They have a 50% off Maki Rolls but unfortunately they are also half the size of a regular roll. You still need to order 2 rolls so it’s deceiving in my opinion.

Service was friendly and efficient here. We came just after they reopen for dinner which was nice and quiet. Veggie roll, ginza roll, kimchi fries, veggie gyoza and age dashi tofu. everything tasted fresh and made to order for sure. Only critique is the booth/table we were at had visible dust and webs on top of the seat which wasn’t very appealing. will probably come back tho, wish the happy hour had a veggie option!

Me and my boyfriend came here once 2 years ago and have been regulars since. The spicy tuna maki is the best I ever had. Everything is ALWAYS fresh/ the best sushi place we have been in Chicago and we’ve been EVERYWHERE (even Michelin star places lol) and nori tops then all. We came for our anniversary tonight and the owner gave us several nigiri on the house. Such a wonderful and amazing restaurant, we’ll be coming here since old age lmaoo. Thank you guys sm
*also we aren’t the most money savy teenagers but half off mondays are soooo great and help us eat all we want lol

This place is awful. My sushi was old; the rice was stained and crumbly, not sticky like sushi rice at all. When I informed the server, he seemed to take it personally. He also served my sake in a chipped glass (I could have cut my lip). He then tried to argue with me about the fish being old. It's very easy to tell if raw fish is out of date. First, they only wanted to offer me a $12 credit because I ate two pieces of sushi, but I refused to pay for it since there was no way I was going to risk eating more. I still ended up paying $30, I guess, just to sit at the table. This is probably a great place to go if you've been drinking all night and don't mind what you eat.

This place is amazing for date night, a catch up with friends or for having lunch with family! The food is great, as well as the service and everything was very tasty! My go to spot in Wicker Park for awhile :)

Place needs better ventilation - you can visually see the smoke from the cooking as you walk in
We dined and it became overwhelming, eyes began to burn and I walked out smelling like smoke
Small portions at expensive price. There are better options.

Stopped in on a Friday night for a small meal. Friendly staff with a clean and cozy dining room! Everything we had to eat was fresh and tasty, good quality sushi for a reasonable price.

This is the best sushi in Chicago! I always get the Loyola lover roll and it never fails. I love that they do BYOB and I brought my friend there the other day with a bottle of wine, and it was such a chill atmosphere- great for a date or catching up with a friend. The people there are very friendly, and since I go there so often, they even remember my name! I can’t recommend this restaurant more!

The kimchi fries were the best and served in a large bowl. The veggie maki was delicious and filling. The service here was so nice! The miso soup was great, especially for a cold night. They are BYOB and charge $5 or a cork fee. The only thing about this place is that in the winter it is cold inside. Although they were nice to have the heater for us, it was still chilly. Overall, great place and friendly staff.
