Norman's Bistro Reviews
Sat April 12 6pm. Greeted or rather barked at as we entered with a balloon. No hello or welcome. Just barked at. Then went to the back & was barked at again for having come in with 6 people. Norman's Bistro is a relaxed neighborhood spot with a cozy bar area for drinks and music. The food is generally okay, but the brunch on Sundays is fantastic. Customers highly recommend the fish, shrimp, and eggs on salad, praising their fresh flavors. The fried green tomatoes are flavorful and served with cole slaw that pairs perfectly. The fried catfish is cooked to perfection and very tasty. The menu also includes a half chicken that is well-seasoned and cooked extremely well, along with mac n cheese that is creamy but simple. During busy nights, live music adds to the lively atmosphere, although it can clash with other music nearby. The outside vibe is lively with DJs and people dancing, creating a fun environment. The service can be slow at times, but staff members try their best, and the overall atmosphere, decor, and music make it a place worth revisiting.
