Just a fantastic dinner. On par with or even better than the 2 and 3-star Michilin places I've been in Chicago, but this is one I'm honestly more likely to return to.

Our favorite restaurant in one of our favorite cities (as a place to visit - - not live).
Everything was exquisite for our 45th wedding anniversary.
Haven’t been able to get back since Covid hit though this review isn’t “current”.

Amazing and creative brunch in one of the most beautiful restaurants in Chicago. The food was outstanding. Do not pass up a hot chocolate during the winter menu.
One of the best overall dining experiences we have ever enjoyed. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary and the entire staff, and in particular, Peter our primary server, made us feel special, were thoughtful in explaining each amazing course in the 5-course prix fixe menu as well as engaging in a great chat about Prairie School versus Arts and Crafts architecture. I would rank the creativity and quality of the meal with the best in Chicago and served in a warm, collegial and unpretentious environment. Clearly the service staff and kitchen team have a great esprit de corps. It's an expensive evening but worth every penny.
It was a great evening. We sat in near the fire place which made the vibe great. The food and service was great. Making it a perfect experience. Out server Charmeon, was warm and welcoming. Her explanation of the dishes made us excited for eat bite! Excited to see spring and summer menus!
The service and ambiance at North Pond are outstanding. It is such a pleasure to dine there.
Excellent experience from start to finish. The lamb was so tender. The surf and turf dessert was nothing like I'd ever tasted before—umami and sweet and everything in between. Excellent wine pairings. Highly recommend
Loved celebrating our anniversary at North Pond! Everything was so delicious and the service was great. Highly recommend

First time there. We had the 4 course meal with wine pairings. It was all excellent. The portions were perfect, the flavors unique but not so usual to be weird. We were very satisfied and loved the whole experience of it. And will come back!
One of my top restaurants in Chicago. Hearty food cooked with so much love, taking farm to table to a whole new level. So much attention to detail - Will definitely go back!

This was our third time eating at North Pond and this was by far the best experience we have had. The scallop, dumpling, and fish were perfectly prepared and the flavors were tremendous. The service is always great and on point. If you are looking for a special occasion dinner you can’t go wrong with North Pond.

My fiancé and I don't often go to restaurants of this caliber. We had cheered on executive chef Cesar Murillo while watching Top Chef and decided that we wanted to treat ourselves to a fancy night out.
From the setting, the service, the food; we were treated to an excellent experience. We loved every course and were talking about our dinner for days afterwards.
We are excited to come back for a Sunday brunch. I can't recommend North Pond enough, it was an exceptional dining experience.

I take my mom to a lot fancy restaurants. This is by far her favorite. I would recommend this place for the variety and fusion of food. If has a twist that is delicious. Also compared to similar restaurants it is quite affordable. Would go again if ever in Chicago. However would like to try their brunch.
