The food is absolutely incredible especially the Burek, which is hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly crisp on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside you can taste the care and tradition in every bite. Interesting food options in a good way. The meat options are highly flavorful however over time the flavors can become one note. I believe there may be a language barrier so it took awhile to get drink orders. It seemed like the bartender was afraid of getting out of her comfort zone and talking to someone who isn't a regular. But after we got drinks service picked up a bit. Mom and pop shop with one cook so expect reasonable wait times. Atmosphere was as if you were surrounded by cool uncles. Nothing to write home about but not offensive. Cool spot to grab some good food and watch a sporting event. Just make sure you grab a drink so they can get to know you.

Stopped by for dinner—grabbed a qebap platter and a slice of their North Star pizza. The qebap was juicy and flavorful, served with fresh bread and feta. The pizza had a nice thin crust with generous toppings. The place has a chill vibe, and the staff was friendly. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the pizza crust was a bit too crispy for my liking. Still, a solid spot for a casual meal.

Northstar is a hidden gem in West Ridge. Stopped in for a late dinner and got the qebap and a slice of their North Star pizza. The qebap was juicy and came with fresh bread and feta—super flavorful. The pizza had that perfect thin crust with generous toppings. Staff was friendly and made me feel right at home. Spent about $40 total with a drink. Definitely coming back for the burek next time!
