Upon arriving we were given a sample of the special of the day with a corn tortilla, costillitas en Chile rojo (small/short ribs in red chili sauce) it was delicious, meat was tender and it had great flavor. We ordered our food. The waitresses were polite, friendly and professional and worked great as a team. We were given chips and salsa as well as Chiles en vinagre (pickled jalapeños) and another salsa that was 'muy picoso' - very spicy. My husband had the menudo con pata. The bowl was huge and the pata was brought on a separate plate. He said it had good flavor and the pata was tender. I had the arrachera plate. Portions were good sized. My plate included the meat which was placed on top of thinly sliced fried potatoes, beans and rice. The plate included a whole roasted jalapeño and 2 roasted white onions. Food was cooked perfectly, it was hot and the flavor was excellent. At the end we were given a sample of one of the desserts, arroz con leche. It was perfect. Bought some to go as well. It was our first time there, we heard about it from a friend. It was a great recommendation. Will definitely recommend to others.

First time trying this restaurant, it looked full, so I thought it was going to be delicious, I ordered red chilaquiles with steak and eggs, what a disappointment they served me tortilla chips with canned tomato sauce, the steak was pure nerve, the tomato sauce was coming out of the very liquid dish, the eggs were brought to me however they wanted, in this case smashed with the liquid raw flame, this type of cooking is disgusting to me. I told the waitress that she looked like a little girl from Guatemala doing her best, and for this reason I didn't complain, I don't like making people feel bad, so I paid and left and obviously ❌️ I would return. I think because they are busy they don't put any effort into the quality of the food. ????
Absolutely, without a doubt, the BEST authentic Mexican food ever! The servers greeted our group with different salsas, pico de gallo and a toquito. Everything was delicious. The portions too large to eat in one setting. We were grateful for the opportunity and recommendation to try this restaurant!

Live in Florida came to visit Chicago for Mexico Independence Day we came to eat here because we saw it on TikTok and we weren’t disappointed food was delicious & service was exceptional and by far the best we’ve ever experienced in any other restaurant. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND! this restaurant and will most definitely come again when in Chicago. Food prices are very affordable
