I love this small beach. The lake is just gorgeous and the beach is kept clean. It's ideal for families, but it's nice for the rest of us, too. There is a restaurant serving drinks and food. It's pricey but the view is priceless.
You’re paying for the views, not the food quality. We sat next to a table where someone had puked and it took them over 15 minutes to clean it up. Service is ok, the price is so so much.
Stopped by Oak Street Beach Restaurant for lunch—great spot by the water! Dropped about $36 on an Island Punch and the Beach Burger & fries. The view of Lake Mich and the skyline? Unreal. Food was tasty, though the burger could’ve used a bit more seasoning. Vibes were chill with a mellow beach bar feel. Service was friendly but a tad slow with the drink refill. Still a solid afternoon hang—4 stars!
