Great Ravenswood neighborhood bar. Great character, hope it stays just as is.
This bar is clean, well-run, affordable with good selection and Victor the owner is a kind and genuine guy. All those things would be enough for 5 stars, but it’s also a time capsule. The untouched vintage decor makes this an absolute must-hit.
I still need to try the food but I will report back.

Only been here as an after for 2am bars but them pickle shots taste like a pickle soaked in nail polish.. yet I can never go in without taking at least 2 of them. ??
Be careful giving the bartenders your card, they might misplace it. ??

Great Chicago experience at a long running bar. Gotta love the Carmen Electra poster
Really lovely little Ravenswood hideout local bar. It’s nice and clean, not a dive. Reasonable priced drinks and they sell food late, mostly Greek menu that always satisfies. Several ciders on the beer list which I always appreciate, and they take cash and credit and have a jukebox as well as one TV in the corner by the bar. Many tables throughout that are usually fairly quiet when I’ve gone. Bar is for chatty folks. I strongly prefer places that don’t have TVs in every corner Bathrooms are always well stocked and patrons are friendly but not cliquey.

Really cheap drinks, chill bartenders, nice cozy interior
I was there till about 4 AM one night, and I was staying at a friends house down the street. Apparently I left my bike unlocked, and the owner, Victor, brought the bike inside his bar before anyone else could steal it. When I came back the next day, he brought the bike out for me. I was so happy, Everyone who works here is so nice. And the drinks are well priced and the atmosphere is always chill. You’ll meet a lot of industry people coming to this bar after 2 AM!

Really fun time. Kitchen closed at 1:30 am and it got busy around 3am. Amy the bartender was very friendly. The chef/owner made the best fries I've ever had perfectly golden crunchy fries. Will be going back. They have a touchtunes, good beers and ciders.
