First time there. Nice atmosphere, attentive staff and a clean bathroom. Great place to watch sports. Going to check it out for a Bears game.

Basic neighborhood Irish bar, no food. My Guinness was improperly poured and in the wrong glass but really who cares. This place is what it is and I hope it stays in business forever. Just set your expectations.

Stop in for couple of beers ,the bartender was the best ,the regulars where friendly alot of large flat screen tvs ,they had both Cubs and White Sox games on which is a big plus clean bar and restrooms , I didn't order any food there
Prices are good and the atmosphere is great. I love going to open mic nights!
Great local bar with plenty of $3.50 beers and a $7.50 chicago handshake. Great for game days, shooting pool, or standup comedy. Adele will treat you well behind the bar!
Amazing people and amazing service.

Live in the area and decided to check the place out finally. I love the hospitality at Irish pubs (I've been to many all over the world) so I figured I'd encounter the same here. I guess it was bingo night so the bar was kinda full with a much older crowd. I'm in my early 30s and was really the only ethnic guy that was at the bar. I ask an elder gentleman sitting at the bar if the chairs next to him are taken and he goes "what do you think!?". Then realizes he was rude to me, tells me, "Jesus loves us all", and gives me his chair after a handshake and walks out the bar. So I'm clearly already feeling unwelcome at this place on my first visit. The bartender was very attentive though and she asked me if I needed anything right away....though I'm quite disappointed I walked into a place called O'Donnell's and they served me a flat-poured Guinness in a Modelo glass. Doesn't seem very Irish nor authentic to me. The prices were very good. I got 2 Guinnesses in a modelo glass for 10 bucks. I gave the bartender a 5 buck tip for being attentive and not making me feel even more unwelcome. Seems like a dive bar that's tailored to an older crowd, folks seem to be regulars and cliquey, and it's definetly not authentic Irish in service nor hospitality. I didn't have any food there so can't speak on that. But it is a cheaper neighborhood dive bar tailored to regular boomers if you're into that vibe.

Restaurantji Recommends
Been here a few times or more. They have different events throughout the week. Bingo, trivia, open standup. They have a decent pool table, huge outdoor patio with plenty of parking in the rear. The staff are awesome and social. Good chill crowd, friendly staff, decent drinks.

Always a great time at O’Donnells!!
I didn't have any food there, but the bartender was very nice, and she was very good. She was great for handling a crowd for about 20 or better because I didn't pay attention to how many people were in there. All I know that the service was good.
