If you’re at Offshore Rooftop at Navy Pier, do yourself a favor and find Geo behind the bar. Hands down the most amazing bartender in Chicago.

Geo doesn’t just make drinks — he creates an experience. Every cocktail was perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and crafted with real precision. You can tell he understands mixology at a high level, but what truly sets him apart is his energy. Attentive without hovering, charismatic without trying too hard, and genuinely welcoming.

And the excellence doesn’t stop there. The boss, Amil — aka Amillion — runs the room with a presence that sets the tone for the entire rooftop. You can feel the leadership and pride in every detail. Dr. Dario behind the bar is just as impressive — smooth, knowledgeable, and dialed in. Together, this team creates an atmosphere that feels elevated, exclusive, and effortless.

With the skyline views and lakefront atmosphere, Offshore is already a vibe — but this crew takes it to something unforgettable. They made our night feel seamless from start to finish.

If you’re at Navy Pier, ask for Geo, Amillion, or Dr. Dario. and Mr 4th batter Tio Arturo You won’t regret it…. And most importantly you won’t forget it…

We went to Offshore Rooftop during Restaurant Week. It was decorated in a winter theme and it had snowed so we felt like we were in an igloo! We loved the experience and the food was excellent.

Delicious Food, excellent service & reasonable cost! Great value and spectacular lakefront setting. We are certain to return often.

Another lovely meal at the Terrace.

On our visit (around Christmas), the fireworks were being launched from another location that's not visible from the restaurant, but they reached out beforehand to let us know, and that wasn't our priority this time around anyway.

I went there to see Chicago's skyscraper however they close their terrace in winter season.

Great rooftop spot with sweeping skyline views and a vibrant but relaxed atmosphere. The location high above the city makes the experience feel elevated instantly, with plenty of space to move around and take in the sights.

Drinks are well made and creative, and the menu is fun without being overly complex. Service is attentive and friendly, especially when the place isn’t packed. It gets lively as the evening goes on, which works if you want energy, but can make it harder to hear conversation.

I've been to offshore before and I went to a Halloween party here , but the menu is constantly changing and this time it was for the worse. I spend money on mediocre food and well with the exception of the ambiance, my guest told me I hyped up a restaurant that was mediocre and they aren't going off my taste anymore! Such a disappointment... I'm done. Too many other choices in Chicago for expensive BS!

Just a little hot up there, like you're on a nursery being planted in the hot sun! But it was very nice besides that part.

Went for dinner on Saturday and there was a private event taking up most of the space so out table was kinda shoved to the side and didn't get to soak up the ambiance much. Food and service were fine.

It's strange to eat in a restaurant that holds hundreds but we were the only table. In addition, we thought from the write up that we'd have an amazing view which didn't happen at all as the lights inside the restaurant make it virtually impossible to see out the window. In addition, the location was unclear (e.g., we walked to the very end of the pier and then up a set of stairs and there was nothing up there, we came down and walked around finding an elevator that wasn't well labeled as being the place you go to get into the restaurant). The wait staff was great (there was no other table to wait on!!) and the food was OK, good but nothing special.
