Delicious home made Italian food. Quieter than I expected, but a nice place to celebrate our Anniversary.
Great neighborhood place. I was an occasional diner @ their first place on Grand & was pleased they stayed in hood. Consistently good food. Five of us @ the table & all were well pleased w/ the food & vibe. Living on the WestSide, I'm especially appreciative of the hrs., making it my natural GoTo. Keep up the good work!
Great Chicago restaurant, family owned and operated, Best Lingerie al Vongole on the city. Isac is the best
The food is amazing, the server was awesome and the pistachio martini is what dreams are made of.
The food was great, but the calamari... in that sauce 💋🤌🏻 Booked this place on a whim and can't wait to go back!
Fancy ambiance is not my thing so OGGI decor is perfect for me. It is small so tables are a little close, but it's not a problem. While a little noisy from the customers being loud, the music was low enough to have a conversation! It is clean and that is all I really care about when I go out! Love their bread, menu and overall vibe. My mom's chicken Milanese was too overdone to cut, but other than that, they filled our plates with large portions and sides that we did not order, but were happy to eat! Kitchen was slow but we did not mind. Our server very sweetly dropped a Tiramisu down on our table “on me” after we ate and said he made it and to please try it! It was the best we ever had! Order it for sure! Have dined at 3 Oggi locations over many years and it never disappoints. Thank you!
Amazing food!!! With great drinks!! Ask for the sweetest wine and the personal pan pizza was more than enough for one!!!! Highly recommended!!!
Food is good and reasonably priced. The grilled Calamari was delicious. Wait staff was super friendly and allowed us plenty of time to enjoy the food and our birthday meal together.
Such a good neighborhood spot. Service is excellent, they know what they're doing, the food can't get any better. Went for a birthday celebration and everything was delicious, drinks are really good, pistachio martini 10/10. Thank you Oggi fam for everything.
Oggi Trattoria just has my favorite old school Italian Chicago food. Love this place, staff is knowledgeable, food is phenomenal and ambiance is just right. Thanks again for a great birthday dinner!

We came here in February 2025. Staff and the ambiance were wonderful. Unfortunately, the two partial misses were on cocktails and food. I was highly intrigued by their pistachio martini. They said it wasn't sweet; alas, it was very much like a dessert cocktail. The gnocchi was flavorful, but It appeared as if the gnocchi was simply laid on a large, thick layer of their spicy pasta sauce. The two ingredients didn't appear to meld together. Overall, for the prices, I will prefer to chose a different location.

The food is amazing! This is not our first time dining, and we felt rushed out the door once our meal was finished. The atmosphere is definitely buzzing and fun for a Saturday night.
We have eaten plenty of Italian food in the USA and it Italy over the years. This place was just okay. The server was really nice, but in general the food was just okay. After a salad and fried calamari we ordered 2 pastas. The linguini arrabiata was the hottest tongue burning sauce we've ever had. We have had a lot! Idk what was in it but it was inedible. The waiter said in 40 years no one has ever complained about the arrabiata sauce. Secondly it wasn't linguini it was spaghetti. We asked about that and he insisted it was linguini, because linguini is flat. This wasn't flat, so we were just being gaslit. The other pasta was fine, it was a rigatoni with a tomato cream sauce. He said their pastas are home made. We don't believe that at all. We did order the tiramisu, and once again, it missed the mark. I have my MILs recipe from Italy and make it often. This one was lacking in that coffee/espresso essence. The layers were nice and tasty but it was very vanilla if you will. The whole coffee (pick me up in Italian) part was missing. So there was no coffee to pick one up as in the tiramisu definition. Too many other Italian restaurants to try in Chicago.
