I’ve never had Chicago pizza. This experience, with this business, and this restaurant was near lifechanging for me. It is hands. DOWN. The best pizza I’ve ever had. I got a pepperoni deep dish and a thin ham pizza (they were out of pepperoni) and both were INCREDIBLE. I wish I lived in Chicago, so I could be closer to this pizza.

This was my first time eating from Old Chicago Pizza Company. I tried to order by calling in my order. I was informed that they only accept cash, unless I order online. I was instructed on how to place my order online.
My son ordered a deep dish/thick crust cheese pizza. I ordered sausage, onions, and green peppers.
The pizzas were delicious and fresh. The cheese was super moist. The sausage was perfectly seasoned, not over bearing with fennel.
The only issue I had is the location. You definitely want to order online, pick up your pizza and go. Definitely worth the drive.

Wanted to try authentic Chicago deep dish for the first time in Chicago and this pizza was incredible. I was recommended Giordanos but felt like I would get a more authentic experience by trying a local spot that wasn’t a chain. The inside is small with no seating and it’s a bit sketchy feeling, but the pizza was more than worth it. The crust is buttery with garlic, and the toppings are incredibly fresh and generous. For $12.50 and a free slice of delicious lemon cake as a “welcome to Chicago” gesture, this was hands down the best pizza I’ve had in the US.

This is a hidden gem pizza is delicious and affordable. I never knew this place was there until my co worker had a balloon release and I ate a piece and everyone was asking her where did she get it she said on 79th right off of cottage grove.”79th street ? “ It’s worth the risk!!

Update My card is still pending since Tuesday Today is FridayI called into this place to order a pizza 2 hours ago. They said I had to go online to order because they only take cash so I went online and ordered 2 hours ago only to find out my order was not placed but it was taken out of my account not to mention I have to wait on the line while the owner yells for 5 minutes to somebody in the store. I called customer service and the answering machine comes on I need my 34.31 back NOW
