Cruisin’ down Michigan Ave and swung into Old Fashioned Donuts, dropped about $12 on a head‑sized Texas glazed donut and a glazed ring—total steal for this quality. The glaze was still warm, crisped just right, and that apple fritter looked massive (next time!). No fluff, just honest‑to‑God donuts made fresh daily by Mr. B’s crew. Chill, old‑school spot with zero pretension—local legend for a reason. Can’t wait to come back!

First off this has been a staple in the community for yearssss!! However, I have come here 2x in the last 3 months from across the country to get donuts and they have been closed each time! Today I arrived at 5:15 only to find them closed and cleaning. People were getting off the public bus to come here and pulling up and they are closed. Im beyond disappointed and any place of business that doesn't honor their posted hours deserves 1 star period! I have to dive all the way back to Maryland with no donuts! 😔
Donuts are cheap and delicious. There was a line when I went so clearly everyone else likes it too!

Love this place, for me it is definitely historical and very significant, I’ve been going here since I was a little girl. And it’s a blessing and God’s grace to be able to love what you do from the 1970’s. LOVE IT!!!
