We were invited to come here by a couple of friends that grew up a couple of blocks away and I had no idea what any of the food was. We got the buffet so we tried a little bit of everything and it was all amazing. A small little place that made us all feel like we were at our grandma's place and we were treated like that too. Son is hosting/serving and mom is cooking/running. Awesome little place if you like authentic food just do not bring a huge group as space is a bit limited.

I brought my American friend to try traditional Ukrainian food, buffet was terrible. Everything was greasy and not fresh! I was keep looking for server to at least ask a question, but they were in the kitchen, and I kept knocking on the door, when they served Borsch, It was too old and very salty. It wasn't even red. It was black. That's because it sits for a long time in the pot. We did not even eat it ... very disappointed will not go again.

Wow! The food was so delicious. I'm from out of town & I was on my way to eat somewhere else during lunch break, when I saw this place.

The woman who was working there was very nice and helpful, explaining the food to me. The atmosphere is so cozy and peaceful with nice relaxing music.

The flavors are so well done. Seems like they have a lot of time and experience invested into these recipes. I was unfamiliar with many of the foods available, but I picked a few things out (cafe/buffet style) and loved all of it. The woman there also asked me if I wanted soup, and I got some sort of red soup which was excellent. The desserts were just as delicious as the food.

Thank you. There's something special about this place that I will not forget. ?

Old Lviv Restaurant is a gem, a unique and authentic eatery that perfectly captures the essence of Ukrainian cuisine. Its small, cozy, homey atmosphere is irresistibly charming. Offering both buffet style and à la carte options, there's something for everyone. Marian, the friendly and multilingual waiter, was wonderfully accommodating with kids' food options. Adding to the authentic experience, a group of Ukrainian men gathered for lunch, their lively conversation in Ukrainian creating a truly immersive atmosphere. I’m eagerly awaiting my next visit to this delightful spot.
