I love this place. I go all the time twice in the last week. One of my favorite spots in the whole city. It’s so cute inside and the staff are some of the most amazing and sweet people ever. Highly recommend this place to everyone I can

Not authentic, but that wasn’t the problem. I ordered the Thai style fried rice and it was extremely too salty(tasted like the most of the flavor came from too much black pepper); the rice was not fluffy and it didn’t have the diverse/flavorful taste that every good Thai fried rice should have. The meat was cooked properly and presentation along with restaurant atmosphere was nice, but couldn’t make up for the food.

This was my second time eating here but 6th time having their food - I think I have confidence in this place to be consistently good. So when I brought my family here visiting for the first time time, for dinner, I was rest assured. We had come in at 8, and put in our order by 820 - all vegetarian with veggies and tofu. 30 minutes go by (nearly closing) and they come back to say they’ve run out tofu. Understandably, we were disappointed. We reluctantly made the modifications to our dishes as it was too late to go anywhere else. 30 more minutes elapse and we’re wondering where our food was; lone and behold, the restaurant had gone out to procure tofu for our dishes. Despite the bad taste the first half left in our mouth, the second half of them going above to fix the issue and make incredible food made up for it. Will come again, but just will confirm the tofu availability beforehand ;)

I don’t normally write reviews, but this was the best pad Thai I’ve had in Chicago and Ive lived here 15 years. Very flavorable, and the right amount of sauce. A+

We loved this Thai food and we actually got it to go. It is one of the best Thai places we have tried. Only thing I would change is their Kao Soi was very very salty. Everything else was outstanding.

Don’t sleep on their drinks and smoothies. Get the Oliang. You won’t sleep for a week.
Oliang is great Thai food in a lovely space. I had the Jasmine Iced Tea (came w/dried flowers, such a nice touch) and the crab rangoon to start...delicious! For my meal, I had the Thai Basil Chicken Stir Fry, which was seasoned well, and nicely spicy (I requested medium level). The staff is pleasant and accommodating. This is a great place for date night, meeting with friends, or a solo meal. Highly recommended.

Hit up Oliang for lunch and dropped about $45 for me and a buddy. We grabbed the Panang Curry special, Pad See Ew and split some Crab Rangoon. Food was fresh and flavorful—Panang had a legit creamy kick, noodles were chewy and saucy just right. Vibe’s chill, service was solid but had to wait a bit. No complaints – definitely keepin’ this one on the rotation.

I’m not a wimp, but that spicy Thai basil fried rice with shrimp really had me sweating! Even with the heat, the flavors from the dish were amazing. This restaurant has a relaxed and cozy vibe with great service!
