A bit average on my visit. Just popped in for a light lunch - had a salad and glass of wine. Salad was fine, with good ingredients and nice balance of flavours - but tomatoes far too cold robbing them of much flavour. Sav Blanc from northern Italy lovely. Tiramisu very average - slightly dry biscuits (recently back from a two week holiday in Fruili and Venezia so have a good sample size to judge against!).

Service a bit random - engaging and effective maitre...
Had good bruschetta starter, and ordered rigatoni pomodoro, and spaghetti carbonara. Rigatoni was simple and tasty, the pasta was on point. The carbonara however was a disappoinment, the sauce being more buttery than yolky and cheesy. The spaghetti was slightly well done, normally with a good sauce would not have been that big of an issue. But with the sauce tasting butter, and the pasta slightly off, it was an overall half eaten disappointment - a real sorry as all the rest was...
This was our first time in Chicago and We had Yehor as our server and they gave stellar recommendations. We enjoyed the Cesar (highly recommend!!!). Following that, I had Cacio & pepe that was prepared table side and my partner had the Branzino. Both dishes were great and a good experience. We were then checked in on by manager Jason who was very welcoming and provided great ways to experience Chicago as first timers. Thanks for an incredible time!
