Came in here today and was glad to see this place doing really well! Have been a few times after it opened this summer and have always been super impressed with the food and service. The bacon egg and cheese on jalapeño cheddar bagel was fireee, and I loved our coconut custard Danish too. And the Biscoff latte is one of my favorite coffees in the area. Great spot all around, very glad to have them in the neighborhood!

Really nice, clean space with great service and good prices compared to other coffee shops in the area. Their bagels were the best I've had in Chicago and you can tell they go the extra mile; from the ingredients used, the preparation, and presentation.

The pistachio latte was top tier, on par with Qamaria. They also have a nice collection of pastries, I tried the pistachio croissant and it was amazing. If you’re a fan of pistachio, this IS the place. They also have spacious seatings, nice decor, and a lot of outlets.

I've never paid so much for such a bad pastry. My friend has told me in advance he thought they didn't look good, but given how high the reviews for the cafe were, I decided to try one anyway. It was $8 for what was honestly one of the worst pastries I've ever had. In their defence, it was late in the day, but if this was because it was out too long, then it should have just been thrown away already and not being sold.

Highly recommend the roast beef bagel sandwich. Meat is halal and the quality of food is great, and tastes fresh. Also recommend their lattes

Cannot recommend this place enough! Food, drinks, and space are 10/10. The staff was wonderful with making recommendations and explaining the Turkish pastries to us. Even offered to switch a drink if I didn’t like it after they recommended (which I ended up loving). We enjoyed a hot tea, a House Latte, triple breakfast sandwich on their NYC bagel, and custard pastries. Will absolutely be going back!

a newfound fav gem. been 3x, 10/10 each time. Workers are kind & thoughtful (ex: offering free 🏈 cookies for da bears game day). Food & drink selections are strong - both small & nourishing bites. many cafes are intentionally designing to eliminate outlets to filter ppl in & out as batteries drain. not here- big space, strong outlet game, makes you feel invited & welcome to stay, any time during their operating hours that feel too good to be true.

Had the most delicious breakfast experience this morning. We had a pistachio latte, biscoff latte, 2 breakfast sandwiches and a croissant. each item was somehow better than the last, and the employees are SO kind. I hope this place goes far.

Wonderful coffee shop with really great sandwhiches and pastries!! I appreciate how they load up the sandwhiches and don't charge per topping. The lattes I've tried have all been wonderfully balanced as well! Staff is always friendly and I love that they accept cash.
Acoustics can be rough in here, especially at peak times with everyone trying to talk. And sometimes the music can be way too loud for a coffee shop. But once they iron that out I can really see this being one of my top chicago cafes!!

I stopped by Olive Oak Café and had One of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in a long time and paired it with a delicious Spanish latte. The staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The owner was also very hands-on checking in and making sure everything was just right. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and the atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.

Came in yesterday for a quick cup of coffee and had an unusual request – trying to get more calcium in my diet and when I mentioned this very weird request about looking at the box of oat milk for the calcium content, Ahmed could not have been kinder! He showed me every type of milk they had and let me pick. Believe me, I know this is very weird, but for bone health reasons a I’m not having that my daily goal I was hoping he would help me out.! Silky Brand soy was the way to go- 450 mg :).
Anyways, the staff was really nice and I had a delicious vanilla soy latte while my husband had chai. Both were amazing! This place is highly recommended.<3
