What a great place in the South Loop- will most definitely be back! The burger and salad were delicious, cookies & milk for desert = perfection! Ashley was an amazing server and made our date night so special! Highly recommend!

Great experience from the moment you walk on the door. The staff is very welcoming. The bar is a great place to start or even enjoy a meal. The main dinning area is expansive which can add a bit of noise but didn't hold back our conversation. The food menu is delightful and offers enough choice. The starters are shareable and the bread is fantastic. Personal I had the American Wagyu and mushrooms - classic and outstanding. Great beverage and the wine list. Definitely a South Loop gem!
I have no idea why Oliver’s never makes top 50 bars but the quality, consistency, and service should really put it up there.

After a disappointing Valentine’s Day experience, Oliver’s went above and beyond to make things right. We returned last Friday for a dinner, and it was truly wonderful from start to finish.
The team was warm, attentive, and clearly committed to making sure we had a great experience. The meal was excellent, the hospitality felt genuine, and the overall evening reflected the level of quality and care you hope for when dining out.
I really appreciate that they took our concerns seriously and followed through so thoughtfully. It says a lot about a restaurant when they are willing to own a mistake and turn it into such a positive experience. Thank you to Luke and the Oliver’s team for the kindness and professionalism. We left feeling very cared for, and we look forward to coming back.
Excellent experience all around from the food, service, and atmosphere. They’ve greatly expanded with the large dining room now. The half chicken and oysters with smoked salmon roe were highlights!

We booked a reservation 3 weeks prior to Valentine’s Day. They told us they were running 15 minutes behind. 5 other couples with reservations were also waiting on tables. 30 minutes later we were called and told most things on the menu were now unavailable. The only entree item left was a burger. We were disappointed and decided to leave.

We still decided to stay even though many of the items we wanted to try were unavailable. We had the burger and the bread which were both incredible. We also ordered the special pasta as there were only a few options still available which was extremely bland we could not finish the dish. We asked if they could provide compensation for the fact that many menu items were out and they comped both our cocktails. Service overall was pretty good. Frustrating that on a holiday night so many menu items were not available..

We were greeted at the host stand with “unfortunately we are out of a few items, here’s was available.” 2 starters, the burger, a hanger steak, that wasn’t listed on the menu and some sides. Our reso was for 9:30, too late to find a new place, off to the jewel to make dinner I guess. Oh btw, y’all owe me uber fair!
Half of their menu 86d on Valentine’s Day. Zero communication from the restaurant and made to feel like it was an issue on our end. We made reservations a month ago. Terrible customer service. We will never give them our business.

I came on Valentine's Day and it got packed pretty fast, and you could tell that the kitchen couldn't keep up which shocks me because I've heard it's always busy! Most of the food we ordered was delicious (the bread and butter - addicting, and the chicken cooked to perfection). The staff was lovely and very transparent. Will definitely give it another try!
