The macaroni and cheese the noodles was overcooked and it was nasty because how could you cook the noodles so big and the macaroni and cheese is out of the box this is not homemade macaroni and cheese

This is nasty the gravy nasty. It taste like ketchup because I know I was a little girl and I did this ketchup before I know what I’m this is nasty. this nastystop going here. It’s not necessary to spend your money at a place where you cannot be satisfied, how are you gonna give me all the rice and 10 beans

Swung by One Stop Jamaica Jerk on 79th and grabbed the jerk chicken dark meat dinner. That chicken was juicy with just the right amount of heat. Sides of red beans & rice and cabbage were on point, and the plantains added a sweet touch. Washed it down with a Jamaican soda, bringing the total to about $25. Portions were generous, and the flavors hit home. Definitely a solid spot for authentic jerk on the South Side.

I got a jerk chicken dinner mixed with cabbage, yams and mac n cheese... all the food was hot and fresh sp delicious.... omg 1 of the best jerk chicken spots on the Eastside only thing disappointing was no plantains like the guy say would come with my dinner 😱

Just had my annual family and friends Xmas Party on Saturday the 21st 2024 for 40 people. The food was absolutely amazing. From the mouth watering tender jerk chicken, omg cabbage, large size yams,and rice and beans with gravy. Large potions for the money. I cant wait to try their curry chicken and other dishes. These people can really cook!

This is my second time eating here now, the food is consistently good and flavorful. I ordered the oxtail and jerk chicken combo this time, and the first time I came I ordered the jerk chicken and brown chicken stew.

This time was different because I ordered online and once I arrived to pick up my food, I was told they were out of cabbage and that I could get greens instead. I was disappointed since I was never a big fan of collard greens since they taste different everywhere. I didn’t feel like asking for a refund so I asked if I could sample the greens and they said yes. They gave me a small portion of greens inside a mild sauce cup and I tasted them; and I can’t even lie… they tasted just like cabbage lol. So this is the first time I ever had GOOD GREENS. The portions are good, the jerk sauce isn’t hot (I’m not a spicy food person so thank you) but it is flavorful. The mac and cheese was good but I had to add salt and pepper. The oxtails were small but still was enough for me and my girlfriend to share, and they tasted good. The plantains are really good too, that sweet flavor adds just the right amount of balance. I would have took a pic but I ate all my food.

Food was flavorful. I got Jerky chicken mixed meat dinner which also have rise with beans, cabbage and plantain and spicy jerky sauce. You can sit inside too.

I don't spend my money where my dollar isn't respected. The man who was taking my order this evening wasn't pleasant at all. It was my 1st time so I had one question can I substitute the rice and beans he said an up charge I'm like ok but not for the same price of an extra side. That's highway robbery and very tacky, so not only did you did you not get my business you won't get my family and friends business either. Also for heaven sakes cut the damn music down. He couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear him. I won't return!

Really big portions of food - personally I had leftovers for two different meals. Chicken was made well and was juicy and the sauce that came with it was good and moderately spicy. Definitely try this place out since everything was pretty good. Just a heads up there’s quite loud music playing inside and limited seating for sit in dining.

Watching tik tok and I was directed here. I went there trying to get some jerk oxtails and jerk chicken combination. THING IS...I DONT like my food to touch so I asked can my food be put in separate container just so my meat won't touch the rice & beans ...Do you know the lady said No it can't be done???!! So she wouldn't separate from the red beans and rice from my meat..THEN tells me I can go somewhere else cause they might sell it like that but she's not!! pissed me off..cause she wouldn't even allow me to pay for a separate container..Customer service goes a long way esoecially when it's ppl like me that would bring business to an establishment...It wouldnt hurt nothing or no one for her or the cook to just not pack my food on top of each other. Hate I didn't get to taste it but I wont be back
