O'Neil's on Wells is a classic Loop spot. I swung by on a Thursday night, grabbed a BBQ Bacon Burger and a pint of Guinness—ran me about $25. Burger was juicy, fries were crispy, and the Guinness was poured just right. The place has that old-school Chicago bar vibe, and the staff made me feel right at home. Perfect for a laid-back night with good food and drinks.

Surprisingly good flat bread pizza. I was not expecting that. Bar service was very good and friendly. Good selection of sports on the TVs and not overly load music.

I visited for the first time last week. Good dive bar, good drinks and the bartenders and staff were nice and pleasant! It was a good atmosphere. I'd recommend it!

If you're in the West Loop and want a chill spot to grab a bite and watch the game, O'Neil's on Wells is the place. I went there last weekend and dropped about $25 on a small pizza ($12) and a couple of cold beers ($4 each). The pizza was solid—crispy crust, a good amount of cheese, and the perfect amount of sauce. Plus, they’ve got a great outdoor seating area to enjoy when the weather’s nice. The bartenders are super chill and made sure I had everything I needed. It's a local gem with great specials during the week, and I’ll definitely be back for more.

What a Fun place! With bag pipe players on top of the bar! DJ out back although I was there on St Patrick's Day this year so not sure what it's like not on that way. But the staff is really cool
Bartender was great! I believe it was her family(maybe son) seen my son showing interest in throwing darts at the dart machine. He gave my little dude $2 and said have fun! Also asked the owner if he could put the Mizzouri basketball game on and he worked for 5 mins to get it done for us! 5 star service and 5 star hospitality! We will be coming back!

My buddy and I went from Poland (Szczecin) to Chicago for Riot Fest 2024. It was awesome (Slayer). On the last day of our 6 day stay in the US we discovered this place literally 2 minutes walk from our hotel. What a shame we only got here then. We met very nice people in front of and behind the bar :) Special greetings to the lady in the photo. Thank you for the opportunity to watch the match of my beloved team Pogoń Szczecin on one of the big screens (we won 0:3) See you soon :)
