I thought I would speak with supervisor Jayde on the 3rd delivery in order to get on understanding on bringing the food back to have it replaced, the answer was no. I was sold salty food with missing items and when I attempted to give it back so they would make it right, Jayde refused to accept. We need better leadership in black businesses. That's why the 83rd street location got shut down. Smh do better for your community that keeps y'all in business. we can put reviews everywhere until consumers are treated with respect for shopping with you.

On a Saturday afternoon, traveling from Oak Park, I expected a cleaner environment. I dined in and the workers wouldn't let me use the restroom. Some of us still wash our hands with soap before eating. The floor was sticky and gave the whole place an unclean feeling. Small things like this cause people to rethink patronizing a business. The food was good though.

I just received my UberEats order and they gave me a pot roast that wasn’t fully done, the roast is literally pink on the inside and the texture is weird, I’m soooo pissed I’m never eating from here again! And I already contacted Uber Eats go have me sick asf!!

Groupon has been closed since the end of July. I have called, emailed, etc. I bought a Groupon which they said they would honor. The restaurant is still closed. The food is delicious, and the people are wonderful. The service at times is extremely poor. I waited nearly an hour for an order that I had placed.
Food is perfect but they must be understaffed cause everything takes too long and then you can try call your order in so everything with them is a waiting game

Today was my first and last time , there. I brought some out of town guest there because they had good food. But later learned that the location on 79th & western is different from 33 E. 83rd because they're not affiliated. 83rd has the best food and service so far. When we took the back to the counter she explained that they overcook their food and it tasted overcook and was not willing to give a refund, no apologies or nothing, her whole disposition was off!

August 31, 2024 I ordered the pot roast, and mac/cheese. The pot roast was cooked too hard and burned. The mac and cheese was hard. I am very disappointed with the carry-out on the 79th Western. I have carried it out with no problem. Please check 97th Western carry-out.
