I went a while back with my family, the portions are extremely large, they allow BYOB, and they are extremely good with service. The orange chicken is actually good orange chicken unlike most, and the food is over all really delicious. I also enjoy the Vietnamese iced coffee a lot.
Have not ordered in a while. The food is good there. The lady in front was very nice and polite. I got the kung pow Chicken. It was good, meat is tender but the sauce was a little bland.
I visited after reading online that this is one of the oldest restaurants in Chicago. I found the food decent; for the price I'd say it was even quite good. I had the general tso and kung pao chicken and liked that they were not as cloying as some other Chinese American restaurants make these dishes. I'd definitely get takeout if I lived nearby, and the idea of people enjoying the same ok Chinese American food nearly one hundred years ago makes me feel like a part of...
