My friend took me here because she wanted to go before it closes down. Now I know why it’s closing down… I have food poisoning. I know it’s from this because I am a food scientist (yes, really) and because it’s the only thing I ate today. Béarnaise is always a risk and apparently I took that chance at the wrong restaurant and am now paying for it.
Orange is my favorite restaurant in Chicago. So much so that my partner and I made sure to only look at homes within walking distance. The food here is adventurous yet comforting and creative and delicious. It’s cute, it’s local, it’s non-pretentious.I always get the Tijuana eggs Benedict, although I’ve tried most of the menu by now and everything is fantastic, but like, I dream about the Tijuana eggs Benedict. ?
The orange-flavored coffee is quite good- there are tons of menu choices, all with great flavors and fresh ingredients!
Stopped by for a late brunch on a Thursday. Had the place to ourselves. We each had an omelette, and they were spectacular. Excellent service. Very clean, very welcoming.
It is an ok breakfast place for the price, ambiance and the portion size. All three dishes we ordered were bland.Coffee was cold, not so fresh and it is not bottomless.Overall an ok place for breakfast.
Great innovative breakfast menu. Intriguing combinations always delicious. Their orange infused dark roast coffee keeps me coming back. The pancake flights are always memorable.
Great breakfast spot - love the orange coffee!
My husbands new boss and neighbors HIGHLY recommended this place as we recently moved to the area. This place is absolutely phenomenal. The food was delicious and the service was fast. After a stressful morning registering my son to start school , those cocktails were needed . The place is clean and ambiance was perfect! Thank you again for allowing us to end a stressful morning on a positive note.
amazing food! the orange rosemary french toast is the best
Had a nice brunch here with huevos rancheros, their french toast flight, and some fresh fruit.Quick service and a nice outdoor space really added to the experience.

Food is fine but service is atrocious. We were here during a very slow early lunch. Drinks came out after the food; no one checked back; and we waited 15 minutes for the bill after we finished. Disappointing.
Loved it! The gluten free pancakes were great. A must visit.
Outstanding food and drinks. I've been here a few times and it's never a dissapointment
Good food , nice stuff ,
