In addition to their regular menu (which you can order online or in-person), they have a by-the-pound buffet filled with all sorts of hot and cold items. EVERYTHING I got is soooo delicious! Mac n cheese, spaghetti, seitan with gravy, baked beans, and peach cake. There is street parking and a mini strip-mall lot nearby. Highly recommended when in or driving through Chicago!
Hit up Soul Veg City for lunch and the food slapped. Got the BBQ cauliflower, mac & cheese, and a side of greens. All plant-based and still hella flavorful. The vibes are cool—laid back, with dope art on the walls. Only knock is the service was kinda slow, but the staff was nice about it. Worth the wait tho. Will def be back to try the vegan gyro.
I had the pleasure of dining here while visiting from out of town. It was a highlight of my stay. The food is delicious (I'm from New Orleans, so I know good food), the atmosphere inviting, and the staff terrific. Don't miss out on this gem.
