This is honestly one of my favorite restaurants in the Midway Airport area. Hands down best polish food in the area also. Me and my family usually come in Fridays for lunch and we are never disappointed. Whoever the cook is on Fridays is incredible. The waitress is always kind and helpful:)

Lunch didn’t seem like they were prepared to serve anyone. Everything seemed like there weren’t any cooks in the kitchen and someone was doing their best to help. Maybe try dinner and not lunch. Our server was also doing her very best. Don’t count them out just yet.

All around excellent Polish food! We ordered the salmon with dill sauce, the soup "specials of the day" (vegetable, cauliflower, and chicken noodle), chicken liver ("wątróbka drobiowa"), and cheese blintzes for dessert. The salmon in particular was amazing (I'm still thinking about that rich & creamy dill sauce *drools*). Everything came out piping hot, beautifully arranged, and the service was amazing. There are tons of healthy options. They also had lovely Christmas decorations up and the restaurant feels homey and comfortable. We need more places like this in the area and in general: high-quality neighborhood spots that are unpretentious and reasonably priced. Honestly, our entire experience was so much better than at many "trendier" places. Orion is a great place to pop into to/from Midway Airport and they deliver on GrubHub. We can't wait to be back!

We were looking for a good ethnic restaurant near Midway Airport. We were happy to find Orion which is a strange name for a Polish restaurant but we thought we'd give it a try. We are so glad we did. Al I can say is Wow! This is probably the best food we have had in recent memory. The pork cutlet, beef wrapped in potato pancakes and pirogees were amazing. We had leftovers and we heated up the next day and we're still awesome. We will be back to Chicago just to go to Orion!
