A friend recommended this gem -- I had never been and was blown away by the deliciousness of the food and the authenticity of the menu! Highly recommend and will definitely be back whenever I'm in Old Town!

First visit but this is a great find in Old Town! We arrived just a bit early but we enjoyed a drink at the bar and the mgr. told us don't rush and just let us know when you're ready. Their heated enclosed patio area was comfortable and our service was excellent. The Clams Casino is must to get things started. Love this spot!!

Orso's is one of our go-to restaurants in the city, whether for casual pickup orders or big dinners with friends. Very friendly people, good bartenders and consistently delicious food.

We wanted to be close to Second City and this was in walking distance. White tablecloths and tin ceilings made Orso's look like it's been there for decades. The staff was very attentive and the service was spectacular. I'm GF so I had the GF pasta with bolognese sauce and it was fabulous. The linguine with clams was a hit with my husband. Everyone loved their meal as well as the bruschetta ( I didn't have that). Orso's was a huge hit and we will be back!

We loved our dining experience at Orso's! It's a traditional Italian restaurant that feels like the epitome of Chicago. Great ambiance! The cocktails were carefully curated and the clams casino were out of this world! I loved the eggplant Parmesan which was super tender and delicious. Our server Conrad was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend a visit to this staple establishment!

Had been wanting to see the inside of Orso's for years. It was a wonderful visit. It was a bit on the quiet side, Sunday afternoon. Food was delicious and service was great. I was hoping for a few more fish or veal options though... it is a very traditional Italian restaurant. We will be back.
Great drinks and service by Maria in cozy setting with traditional and well priced Italian menu. Healthy sized portions and the soups were especially wonderful! And where oh where do you ever hear a live piano anymore!

The annual get together with friends was lovely--good food, excellent service, and pleasant ambiance. We almost always select Orso's because of these things.

We had a lovely dinner with our grandchildren (ages 11, 9 and 5). Orso's has always been happy to accommodate children and this evening was no exception! The kids' menus come with crayons and their meals come with gelato. Orso's food is always delicious and everyone went home happy.

Another great meal at Orso's! This was our first time indoors (vs the patio out back) so it was a different experience in that regard, but it was just as enjoyable. We were right near the piano so the volume did get a little high at times but was not too overbearing. A great meal overall and will continue to be a marathon weekend go to!
