Everything about this gem is amazing. The food was delicious. They had a great selection of drinks and cocktails to choose from. If you catch Santana who is a bartender there, he’s super friendly and knowledgeable- as is the whole staff. Modelo on Tap is also just an awesome homage to have for the community.
We came here last night to finish out celebrating my best friend’s birthday. They almost didn’t allow us in saying we didn’t have a reservation, but he still let us have one of the open tables not on reserve with the stipulation of agreeing to stay no longer hours which was fine. We had two drinks and both of them were very good. The service wasn’t too bad. They seemed aloof but checked on us persistently. We like the variety of different genres of music as well. Then...
Highly recommend the Lamb Birria Grilled Cheese, Mexican Smash Burger, and Yucca Fries. Cocktails are strong and tasty as well. Fast service. Speakeasy vibes. A must visit if in the Little Village area.
