Service was fantastic and we really enjoyed the updated fall menu--perfect for a cold rainy November evening. The vegetarian mushroom gnocchi and the updated verdura with lentils was really hearty and the highlights. Great wine list and we had a wonderful Barolo our server recommended.

Finally, logan square has a true northern italian place once more! With a truly professional waitstaff, the experience at this restaurant exceeded expectations. Our meal started with an appropriate introduction to the evening's specials and some menu highlights. The menu is properly Italian in that it both focuses on the ingredients and serves dishes that real Italians eat. If shaft runs out of the appropriate, fresh ingredients, then that dish is done for the evening. Such quality control both surprised and impressed me. The dishes themselves where the all-stars. Our group selected a smattering of dishes from the menu. The house made gnocchi and the special beef Wellington were the two greatest hits in our table. The Patate appetizer likewise pleased the entire party. Not to be undersold, the gelato and housemaid bombolini concluded the meal with the dessert that you always want: sweet, filling, but not overly decadent. Do not bring your own wine, as the house has a selection from piedmont that will make your snobbiest wine friend hope that you will invite them. Be sure to book a reservation ahead of time because this place is popular and simultaneously a neighborhood gem. I anticipate many returns for dinner or even just dessert and wine.

Absolutely charmed with Osteria Langhe. Attentive service without being intrusive and delicious food. This is exactly the type of date night restaurant you want in the neighborhood. Casual and classy with an approachable vibe. My partner is a chef and I brought him here for his birthday and he was also blown away. They even noticed that I checked the birthday box on the reservation and surprised him with a dessert. We had the bone marrow special, plin, ragu and the steak frites and all was delicious. Please support this restaurant!

No notes. Staff amazing, food is fantastic and they make you feel special! The white truffle risotto cannot be recommended enough! My wife is very into wine and has a great palette, and the server worked with her to get the exact wine she wanted with her meal! They offer everything pretty much in glasses at such a reasonable price you can really treat yourself!

Authentic and perfect atmosphere for a perfectly prepared menu. I highly recommend this restaurant. The owner was present and very personable. Fantastic wine list that is reasonably priced.

We are long time patrons of this amazing establishment. We have never had a dish we didn't love, and often go back to satisfy a plin craving. Our server, Anthony, is our go-to favorite and we always try to request him for his table side manner, excellent recommendations, attentive service, and friendly and welcoming demeanor. Osteria Langhe is a favorite amongst our social circles and will always continue to be.

Great dinner with a friend. The food is always high quality and the service was friendly knowledgeable and efficient. Enjoyed ourselves a lot. The lamb entre was excellent.

One of the best things about Osteria Langhe is that the menu items are not at all common in other Chicago Italian restaurants. In addition, everything is perfectly prepared.

Food is good and the restaurant is not too noisy. the pasta dishes are authentic and properly sauced. Menu is well constructed and a great wine selection. I will return!

New to me was their bagna cauda, which consisted of a garlic and anchovies sauce served with steamed asparagus, steamed broccoli, raw endives, and raw carrots that are dipped in the sauce. It was great and good for the body, like my main course, a risotto with mushrooms, truffle oil, and a sunny-side-up egg. For dessert, we had a fantadtic affogato, espresso with ice cream.

Wonderful food and service.

I'd like to start off by saying I had the most amazing Plinn, just divine. As for the entrées, I ordered the lamb. It was the smallest portion, very fatty, temperature was medium, rare which I don't like and therefore it wasn't even close to being tender. Then we ordered the black cod and the first bite tasted so fishy. So disappointing!

Was there for birthday dinner. Ordered 5 dishes for 4 people. Amazing food even for a vegetarian! Our server helped us choose dishes and recommended a complimentary wine. Ended meal with house made lemon cello...amazing. The restaurant is small but the food flavors are big.

Such a lovely place! Everything was delicious, but especially the dessert! Service was prompt and polite and the vibe was perfect for date night!

It was unbearably hot in there. If the AC is broken then allow diners to cancel without penalty and with notice from the establishment. The seating is also so bare bones that I found it to be very uncomfortable. For that alone, and all the dining options in Chicago, we won't be going back. Turn and burn, I understand, but those booths??? Really. A little comfort goes along way.
