When we arrived although I requested inside seating They could find no record I pulled up the restaurant response They worked fast to accommodate the inside seating request Great server staff especially the BIG outside server
OVS's pizza has been our favorite pizza for the past 20 years, and we timed it just right this visit for their seasonal heirloom tomato pizza! It never disappoints! The pizzas are very thin, so we each usually order a large salad and share a pizza. I've also been craving Osteria's Warm Ciabatta & Roasted Garlic, so we started off with an order to share along with a glass of white wine. The warm Ciabatta is indescribably delicious (I normally am not crazy about ciabatta) and a must-try if you haven't!! Service was warm and friendly. Since the weather was delightful, we opted to dine outside, which explains the energetic (even beyond at times) noise level. I hope you love Osteria Via Stato as much as we do!!
Food was outstanding. Every dish tasty and prepared properly. Service was spot on without being overbearing. Server knew we were there to socialize with our guests and limited interuptions.
Nice outside patio. Service was efficient and pleasant. Pizzas were delicious. Paired with the chopped salad and prosciutto, too. Everything was wonderful.
Our server and the SA were both excellent! The food was incredible. Can't wait to go back.
Lovely setting, very helpful and accommodating service. Food was very good and reasonable portions. Wonderful evening.
Matt is an exceptional server. He always makes my Osteria experience the best. The squid inj pasta was delicious.
whenever one of our grandchildren turn Chetan, we take them to Chicago and stay at the Embassy suites. This is the second time in two years that we have gone to this wonderful restaurant. Both my grandsons said they have the best bread they've ever had and I totally agree. Bread was so good that we ordered some loaves to take home. Pizza was also excellent. I highly recommend them.
It was a busy Saturday night with two large groups inside. We were seated at a table that was very close to another table and in the major pathway of the servers getting to both big groups. It took a while for our server to come over but, once he did, the service was fine. We shared the Parmesan garlic bread...it was amazing! My husband ordered a basil lemon drop cocktail while I had the limoncello spritz which was so good and refreshing. I wanted the pappardelle but they were out so the server suggested the penne with tomato sauce instead of the cream sauce. My husband ordered the rigatoni - both were good. We then ordered the trio of gelato and the house made limoncello. The gelato serving was very small but good. The limoncello was excellent! We used our Lettuce Entertain You gift card to pay for dinner.
Our waiter was great but the portions served have shrunk drastically. I had the short ribs. It was delicious but very small

Our server had no personality. It seemed like he had no desire to serve us. The only thing that had any taste was the salad.
Antonio was great! He was really fun and friendly, and was very helpful when we had several questions about the Lettuce Entertain You scratch off and gift cards. Will definitely be back!
This restaurant is very good with everything they have. Team, Italian food and wines and the ambience
Very disappointed by the rude refusal by the indoor hostess to seat us a little earlier than our reservation time.
Had an amazing meal. Portions were big. Price was fine. Made for a great value. Was a last minute choice but so glad we ate here. Delicious!
