Great neighborhood spot! The food (feat. the Duck Inn) some of the best brewery taproom food in Chicago. The tap list features NYC’s Other Half Brewing staples and some Chicago exclusives. Highly recommended.

Awesome other half brewery taproom and restaurant. Good choice of beers on tap and loads of cans in the fridge. Didn't have food but lots of it was coming out and looked good. Had a chat with the owners, all very friendly and so were staff. Its a bit out from downtown chicago, but you can get the number 8 bus for £2 and it stops 100 meters from bar ( see photo )

Aww, this Other Half 'outpost' is so far from Brooklyn all the way out in Chicago, but good for them for dipping their toe in the crowded brewery market in this town. It did feel much more 'A Brewery attached to The Romova' than 'Other Half Romova,' so maybe their branding needs an upgrade. Pretty sure nothing on the outside said Other Half. Anyway, this brewery is fine. They have a bunch of their parent's beers from NY, and they brew around a half-dozen or so decent things themselves there. There was food, but didn't get any.

When the uber dropped us off I wasn’t sure we were in the right place. No OtherHalf branding or signage at all, but once inside the taps were all OH. The bartender shared that other half had no ownership interest but was brewing for the theatre. Whatever the case it was my 5th other half location and although the presence was not a favorite, the beer was exceptional.

Would be nice if they announce they are closed for special events. Went in Saturday at 3pm and no signs indicating they were closed nor on any social media platform.

Visited the tap room for the first time as part of an Illinois Brewing Series run. Great beer, great service. Beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy good beer and good company. Recommended.

Good selection of beers among other drinks; very pricey though
Great place to visit, just wish they offered their Chicago brewed beers to-go.

All draft cocktails, which I'm not a fan of. If you charge craft cocktails prices, the cocktail must be crafted in front of you. It's just not the same. I appreciate beer and deep fried foods, but I want my cocktail made Infront of me. It's part of the service and experience.
Happy to have an Other Half location in Chicago. Great selection to go cans, a bit more pricey than other location but they sell single cans

This place is off the list due to attempting to raise beer prices across the board. Starting at $16 a pint. Even if you lowered them to the new normal, what happened to 3.5 dollar pint happy hour at breweries? Maybe that's 5 dollars these days, but seriously go pound sand. We don't need beer to cost an hour of minimum wage.
Labor and equipment for alcohol production shouldn't be that high if things are scaled properly.
I love Other Half's beer but this is more of a full-service bar than a taproom. It makes sense since it's the defacto bar for the theater. With diverse crowds of all ages and preferences they need to cater to as wide an audience as possible. Unfortunately, the beer gets a bit buried in the menu and we had a hard time navigating it at the bar.
The layout and space means tables are likely to be limited at peak times. We did find a narrow table in the corner and enjoyed a few excellent IPAs.
The location is off the beaten path, near the White Sox park. Not too much around yet but the neighborhood serms to be up and coming.

The food was horrible. My wife ordered the sliders and they were cold. The cheese wasn’t even melted on the burgers. I ordered the grilled cheese and it wasn’t even warm. We arrived shortly after it opened that day so no excuse.
