I had high hopes since this company was referred by a trusted caterer that I used many times, but my experience with Outside the Box was horrible.
We hired this company for a repass immediately following the funeral. They finally showed an hour and an half late to the funeral home. Which means my grieving family didn't eat and waited for over 40mins after final viewing. I received no heads up and if we hadn't reached out to see what was going on, they never would...
We used Outside the Box catering for both breakfast and lunch for a corporate event and they did not disappoint. The food was excellent and they were able to accommodate some dietary restrictions. Their staff was helpful and friendly. Should we host another event in Chicago, we will use them again.
Tameka catered our wedding on June 8th, 2024 for a party of 65. Each and every item we ordered was delicious. The price was reasonable and the staff was more than accommodating. I highly recommend her and her staff.
