What a joke, a 100 bucks for a tea and some bites that are stale and cheap quality. (Tea service)
Save your money.
You will walk out hungry and you will feel robbed.
Great atmosphere though. Still not worth it.

I was disappointed in food quality, we had great service and great tea. Bread was hard like it was old. Sitting out.

The tea food was lovely and the harpist exceptional! The hostess was also very friendly and gracious!

They asked for a review so i did.

“My boyfriend and I have been coming to the Christmas high tea for many years. Unfortunately, this time the service did not meet the standard we’ve come to expect. In the past, the waitstaff took their time to share the history behind the tea, describe the different selections, and explain how the service worked in a polished and thoughtful way. They always made us feel special.

This time, the person who served us wasn’t even wearing a uniform and spent only a couple of seconds speaking with us. It felt more like a cheap buffet than the elegant experience we were used to. The food and ambiance were as wonderful as always, but the service was extremely disappointing. Sadly, we won’t be returning.”

Lovely experience in the Christmas room, which we were glad of as the main room was extremely noisy. Really nice touch with carol singers and harpist. Sandwiches and cakes were pretty good although we saw additional ones being brought out to other diners but we didn't receive any . Felt it was a bit expensive for what it was but cannot fault the service we received.

This was a lovely Tea experience and afternoon for my 4 friends and I. Lovely change up from our usual dinners and something fun and festive for the holidays. Food and ambiance was great.

The Holiday High Tea at the Drake is a wonderful tradition. The holiday decor and music are lovely. It's a fun way to get started on the Holiday season!

Such a special experience for a family holiday celebration. The live music was a great touch and appreciate how attentive they were to allergies in the group. Only wish we would have seen our server more frequently but know Sunday afternoon is especially busy.

BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE! High Tea during Christmas time is absolutely stunning. The food could be better if they offered maybe more cucumber sandwiches rather than so many sweets. We definitely enjoyed it!

We had an elegant afternoon tea. Gabby, our waitress, was a special treat. Lovely harp music!!!

Honestly, this place is quite bad for the price you pay, you’re paying more for the environment than anything else.

The food was mediocre at best, and the only good thing about this place is the ambiance - love the live harpist!! We also paid extra because of the carolers here for the holidays, and the carolers never even came to our table, think they only hit about half the tables in the 2 hours we were there.
The hosts were unfriendly and so was coat check, so immediately coming into this place we were already left with a bad taste in our mouth.
Gabrielle our server was probably the only stand-out element about this visit, she was fantastic.
Neverthless, I wouldn’t come here again unfortunately.

My family and I have made Tea at the Drake a yearly tradition for the past few years, and we were genuinely looking forward to this visit. We were celebrating a birthday and had traveled an hour to be there, but unfortunately this year’s experience made it clear that we won’t be returning.

From the moment we were seated, the visit started off poorly. Our table was so cramped that our knees hit the underside, and we were squeezed in so tightly that waitstaff continuously bumped into us as they passed. It set an uncomfortable tone for what should have been a relaxing afternoon.

Three of us ordered the same cocktail for our first round of drinks, and all three were sent back because they tasted like straight vodka. The replacement drinks were better, but for the price point, this shouldn’t have happened at all.

For the second year in a row, the smoked salmon was extremely fishy—disappointingly so—and not at the standard one would expect from the Drake.

The most disappointing part of the experience, however, was the service from the woman attending to our table. She barely acknowledged us, gave off negative energy from start to finish, and at no point returned to ask if we wanted another round of drinks. Despite our efforts to be warm and polite in hopes of improving the interaction, her demeanor never changed.

We still enjoyed each other’s company and the beauty of the room, but the service significantly impacted what was meant to be a special celebration. Sadly, the overall experience no longer feels worth the cost, and after a few years of making this a holiday tradition, we won’t be returning.

Afternoon tea was a delight! My server, Javier was very helpful with his recommendations. The live harp player added to the experience. Will return again & would highly recommend!

I had to do a review after reading. We went in September for my sisters 50th birthday celebration. Everything was beautiful. The staff was extremely attentive. They refilled our tower with the things they saw us eat the most of. The food was fresh and delicious. We all had different teas so we shared those. The lady played the harp the entire time it was very enchanting I must say. Everything we didn't eat they packaged it for us. Only down part i wished we could've had our teas that were left. I would've loved to purchase the tea my mom and sister had. Will have tea there again.
