I came here craving an authentic tres leches cake, but was extremely disappointed. What I got was just a sponge cake that was only slightly moist, not the rich and creamy tres leches I expected. Very underwhelming. What makes it worse is that they have an authentic Mexican restaurant next door (Taqueria Los Gallos) — how can the bakery not live up to the same standard of authenticity?
