It’s the real deal, like in Mexico. Great selection of seasonal offerings (fourth of July) and vegan options.
Holy crap wow. I’ve lived a short walk from this place for over a year. Finally just happened upon it walking by after the train. Everything is amazing and very reasonably priced. A true Chicago gem here in Pilsen.
Fresh awesome food
Cute place with lots of options! There are too many to try which is a good problem. I tried the chocolate vegan cupcake and it was pretty good (I didn’t eat all of the cupcake itself since it was a little large). Good texture and flavor for vegan item. Several vegan options. Staff is very friendly. It’s really just a takeaway service. Cute interior. Seriously - so many options!! It’s fun to look.

My mom is the biggest concha brat. I wanted to get her some Thanksgiving morning, stopped by Panaderia Nuevo León and she said it was the BEST CONCHA she’s ever had. They were right out of the oven warm & perfect!

Absolute stop in pilsen district!
Mexican pastries special, cute store and discovery of cultural specialties.
At first I wasn't very convinced, the dry air was overwhelming, but I still let myself be tempted by the Ojoz Nuez and then a nice surprise because it was really worth it especially for the price of 2.5 dollars compared to any other Chicago boutiques are giving!!!😊
The downside is that as I didn't know the Ojoz Nuez I wanted to find out from the staff who strangely barely spoke English...and not very friendly.
So for those like me who asked the question it's a pecan or plain cake surrounded by puff pastry.
However, do not take away on site.
Parking: You might be able to find some space between the alleys but I wouldn't risk it.
Wheelchair accessibility: Narrow for the entrance otherwise no stairs.
