Our absolute favorite breakfast spot in Lakeview! The food here is consistently top notch. I always go for the Steak Skillet and pancakes—the skirt steak is perfectly cooked every time: tender, juicy, and never chewy.

A close second is the Chorizo Skillet, which is the ultimate hangover cure—flavor-packed and satisfying. The wait staff is fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always ready with a coffee refill. This place never disappoints and is a must-visit for breakfast lovers!

I think my favorite among all was pancake sampler, such a fun idea to taste all the pancakes without ordering every pancake. My fav was pumpkin flavored. I went on a Thursday morning for a brunch and didn’t have to wait.

Easy to get seated on a Saturday noon time with outdoor seating so we could have our dog with us. Note there were some wasps around. The food was good and big and didn't take long to come out. The service was great. Classic brunch spot!

I think they have one of the best breakfast burritos.

Breakfast at Pancake Café is always a must if you find yourself on the north side of Lakeview. 🥞 The makeshift patio is my go-to spot in the summer and fall when the weather’s just right. It’s right at the start of the gayborhood, making it a cozy and safe space for the LGBTQI community—perfect for a cute little date spot. 🌈💛
