I’ve been coming here almost every day on my long Chicago visit. You wouldn’t believe the positive energy, accuracy and excellence of this staff. Even in busy times, they are crushing. I’m a Panera loyalist, and this location is top notch 👏👏👏

Had a wonderful experience here all because of their one employee Josie. Every time I visit, she’s extremely accommodating and kind, gives me her recommendations then personally brings over my order due to my chronic disability. She always drops everything she’s doing to help out. She deserves a raise.

This place needs better management. They’re never prepared in the morning - ice tea is never available and orders are often wrong or extremely late. Staff treats this place like their personal bedroom with their own music blaring over the Panera music selection. For a Panera off of State street Panera has got to do a better job.

I am a Sips Club Member and I was excited about Panera opening downtown. The first few weeks when it opened were awesome. The iced tea was freshly brewed and tasted great. Recently, it either hasn’t been working, or the tea leaves are stuck to the bottom so today I just drank a bunch of tea pieces. All I want is a good iced tea lol

The people there were very rude. Long wait with no food to show for it. I asked for a refund after an hour of waiting and I order online for pick up, and the lady in the front said it will auto refund, which doesn’t seem correct. So I left and just went to Panera next door. This Panera is so suspect in their business practices. Never will I go to Panera again. I had to call the customer service to place a refund.

The food is good I had a chicken salad sandwich on rye bread . I would have like a different bread option maybe and dont even think about charging extra you make more than enough profit in chicken salad. Then I had bacon mac n cheese. Good stuff a tad on the pricy side . $ 29.00 If its good food and better service we shall see? The real issue was with my service . I work next door I have ate here before and I was given a little off . And hear me out if you cant do it thats fine I get it . Do not not stand there then and tell me oh thats nice you work next door . I was taken a back just a bit. Just say oh I am sorry we can not give out any deals to fellow tenants. No worries. I found what she said to be rude and condescending frankly. The cherry on the cake was when the stupid tip section of the bill came up. I left what I considered to be fair. $1.00 Here is my tip for the day . Provide better customer service and you mite get a better tip.

This Panera is in a great location and the food is consistently good. Unfortunately, the experience is often ruined by how slow the service is. Even when it’s not very busy, orders take a long time and the overall pace feels unorganized. With faster and more attentive service, this place would be much more enjoyable.
